Michael Cash handled my federal and California state tax returns for 2019 through 2022. None of…read morethem were ever filed. Whenever I followed up, he became rude, arrogant, and dismissive, insisting I'd get an IRS letter if there was a problem. IRS transcripts showed no filings whatsoever. For 2022, he originally told me I'd receive several hundred dollars back from the state. When I asked him to refile, he had no documentation of any of his prior work. At one point when I requested my state return, he actually sent me someone else's tax return by mistake. I've been trying to clean this up since September of 2025 and he's been zero help the entire time. He never directly answers any question I ask him. He just points the finger at me and blames me, claiming I didn't electronically sign and send him some form -- yet I never had any electronic communication with him because I always went in person and paid by personal check every year. The new filing showed I suddenly owed two hundred dollars, which with penalties has grown to nearly a thousand. It's now 2026 and I'm still dealing with the mess. I'm now forced to seek legal representation against him and I'm filing a formal complaint with the IRS Office of Professional Responsibility to report his actions as an Enrolled Agent. I strongly encourage anyone else who has been harmed by his services to do the same.

I would say this was the best letter I have ever received. I have been terribly worried about this issue and it was affecting my life and especially my sleep. So before I open a good bottle of wine, to celebrate, I highly recommend Michael Cash to assist you with all your tax needs and problems with the IRS. Final note. If I had gone to one of the tax firms that advertise on TV, I probably would have paid thousands of dollars. Michael Cash's fees are very reasonable, in comparison.

2-3-2017 Had the…read moreworst experience at Jackson Hewitt . I'm from Sonora California. I drove an hour and 30 minutes to the 1285 Yosemite street, Manteca, CA location. Arrived at 11:35 for my 12:00 appointment. When I arrive the female told me she did not show my appointment in the system but she could still start the process for my appointment. I showed her my confirmation text and she proceeded to type in the information to start my return. I gave her my W-2 and told her I owned a home and we had just moved here two years ago from North Carolina. She had another customer come up while she had me sitting down and reviewing my information. These customers had an appointment at. 10 o'clock on 3-4-2017. But she had arrived after 10:00 am and missed their appointment She stated that I had to get up from starting processing on my return to take the other customers. She stated that my return sound too difficult and she could not do it any way. But, she did called another office complete the return. If I just go to the other Jackson Hewitt across the street, I will be the next person and there may be a 10 to 15 minute wait but they will have me as their next customer . I stated OK and proceeded across the street and tell them who Who I was they said OK please sit down. I waited to be completed their first group of customers. It was about 45 minutes to an hour later. Then after that they took another set of customers. I told them the situation they said they knew nothing of what happened and they apologize. The situation I endured today at Jackson Hewitt, was extremely unprofessional. Inconsiderate and inconvenience to myself and my family. I believe the whole situation with the young lady asking me to get up from my seat because she had missed appointment was totally irresponsible.
