A sincere, simple, realistic and biblical message. Beautiful praise time. Recommended to whoever is looking for a welcoming church.

Through the messages, worship, and people here, I've grown closer to God and deepened my faith in ways I never expected. I always looked forward to attending service each weekend and serving as a Change Maker in Kidside. Being able to care for and invest in the little ones has been incredibly rewarding. Pastor Marcos has also had a huge impact on my life--his messages are inspiring, genuine, and have helped change my life for the better. Eastside is more than a church; it's a family, and I'm so grateful to be part of it.

This is a tough review to write and I wasn't sure whether I even should or not, but I'll give an…read morehonest recounting of my experience going to Eastside for the better part of a year. When my mother died in August of 2024, I found myself completely spiritually lost. I ultimately turned to Christianity to help me survive the excruciating grief, and Eastside was the first church that attracted me with its whole "it's okay not to be okay" tagline and mindset. In terms of their services: to be blunt, they are extremely impersonal. Everything's on a screen; there's no live pastor giving sermons, no live anyone doing anything except for the worship songs - otherwise just QR codes and a recording that they play on a projector. That's why I ultimately left. They have multiple branches so they just treat it as a franchise almost, and that's just not how I was necessarily raised to feel like church should be. That being said, they do offer incredible resources, several of which I took advantage of and will always be grateful for. The first was their grief group, which I attended for several months after my mother's death (after also having lost my father a few years before) and which helped me tremendously. The second was a pre-marriage course that was somewhat like couple's counseling, which I went to with my partner as we were hitting some rough spots. I will always thank Eastside for providing these specific outlets of help. I was baptized here as well on Easter of this year, and that was an extremely positive experience. Everyone rallies around for the baptisms and offers encouragement, so it was beautiful to be baptized in that type of environment with everyone around you cheering you on. If you like more traditional Christian services, which I realized that I do, this is not the church for you. But if you're a little more contemporary or you need any type of personal help, I would recommend checking out Eastside and their offerings. They have something akin to AA too that they call something else, but they're really great at offering support to the community, and I'll certainly give them credit for that. Side note, and not necessarily important at all, but their bakery has the best ham & cheese croissants I've ever had. Stop in a bit early before the service, grab one and a coffee or smoothie and mingle. There's always a large amount of people socializing before/after the services since they've got both the bakery and a basic grill with burgers, breakfast sandwiches, etc. I was always too shy to invite myself to anyone else's table, but if you're outgoing, that window of time might be a great opportunity for you to meet some friends.
