We had a beautiful morning to check out City Flea for the first time! We picked up a cold brew and…read morefresh donuts then people watched as we waited for our family to arrive. Everyone we encountered from attendees to vendors were all friendly and laid back. There were plenty of cool flea market clothing finds but we were mostly attracted to the art, much of which had Cincinnati themes. Our daughter and her boyfriend just moved into a new place, and they got a few pieces of unique art, including a Findlay Market painting, to hang on their walls. Washington Park was well maintained and clean. There were lots of park benches and the shade from the big trees added to the ambiance. The flea market was a great way to spend an hour or so.

We came across The Farmstead Market at a farmers market. They had some great looking produce…read moreavailable, and we were excited to get containers of blueberries and black raspberries. The friendly vendor had some great little lids to put on top so that all of the berries stayed put during the rest of our stroll around the market and journey home. The berries are sweet and juicy, with a great texture. The vendor was very friendly, and we enjoyed a quick chat with her.
