I went there not too long ago, for a simple retreading of buttons on a rain jacket and to stich up a hole in the arm hole of an expensive custom-made trench coat. Everything was perfect!! I will be going again soon to take a shirt that my friend loved but decided to get rid of due to it being worn. She has no idea I still have it; Coco will be turning it into a bag, and I will gift it to her for her birthday. This place is AWESOME!!

Last week when I stopped in, the owner was there and from the doorway I asked if there was a quota of people to enter at one time given that its a very small space (maybe 10x15' interior). The owner said 'no', "if there's 10 people here and someone doesn't like it they can leave." I saw she wasn't wearing a mask. I said 'Oh, no mask?" and she said "This is my store and I don't require masks. The doctors are being paid to make up the coronavirus." I said "No, they aren't." and sadly walked away from the doorway. Very irresponsible and dangerous in midst of virus spike in the area and state. I won't visit again until new owners... I see the business is for sale.

Cloverdale can be a quiet little town, but Erin Mavis always has a flow of customers come through then I'm there. The staff are friendly and welcoming; there's a real community feel! On my most recent visit I scored a pair of comfortable, light-colored, distressed denim, a cotton sweater, AND a luxurious pair of cashmere fingerless gloves. I'm wearing the gloves now on this cold, gloomy day and love them! Erin Mavis is also currently offering a darling holiday market about a block away, tucked away in a courtyard. It was right before Christmas and I figured I could always go for some exotic stocking stuffers. Everything in this shop is purchased with consideration of where it came from. All from varying parts of the world, from different cultures where Fair Trade is practiced. We were there on a very special day...it was the shop's birthday! I can't remember how long it's been there but it is a significant amount of time (twenty something?). The shop owner, Lena, was blowing up balloons, offering champagne and cake. There was even live music. Very kick back atmosphere...I purchased some musical instruments for the kiddos, stocking stuffers and a wool beanie....and of course, a few necklaces (my trademark purchase at any boutique I visit). I give this shop five stars for it's ethics, service, pricing and variety of product. It's just the perfect shop to visit when you're in town visiting PA. Very chill ambiance...just like the town itself.

I had not received any type of notification for tracking and reached out to them in which they did responding saying my order had been missed and buried under other orders. Once I received tracking from FedEx it states that my package is expected to be delivered on Thursday July 16th, a whole 8 days later after purchasing the 3 day shipping option. Along with this I had also made a similar item purchase from a boutique in Maui Hawai'i on the same day. I have already received my item from Maui through usps on July 13th. I did see that there is a bungalow store location on Maui but thought I would purchase from the California location thinking I would receive my purchased item sooner as they had other shipping options. I was definitely wrong. At this point I will not be making other purchases. My review is all based on my online purchase experience and once I receive my product (expecting it to be good) I hope to be able to add another star to my review.
