We ordered 2 quesa birria, 2 al pastor, 2 carne asada, and one beef empanada. Everything was delicious. The empanada reminded me of the ones I had growing up in Texas and felt just like a comfort food. The tacos were piled high, super flavorful and cooked perfectly. And both salsas were great. I could eat the green one with a spoon. My son had wanted a chicken taco but they had run out. But, while we were waiting for our order they finished making more chicken and threw a chicken taco in for my son. It was so thoughtful. Everyone at the truck was so kind. He devoured the chicken taco as soon as we got home, along with an al pastor, and has not stopped talking about it. He wants to go again tomorrow. 10/10 we will definitely be back.

They've got the sweet crispy exterior going on, and they're warm & dense on the inside. At first, I balked at the price... $6.50 for the waffle + toppings I wanted?! But the waffles are are good-sized (double the size of a typical waffle). And their presentation was a work of art. My Nutella & banana waffle was almost too gorgeous to eat. We also ordered a strawberry and whipped cream waffle (the whipped cream was the real deal!). And a plain waffle. All three of them were amazing, & filling! They take credit cards as payment, which is convenient! And they use the plastic containers made from recycled materials, to serve the waffles; also a "plus" in my book. They don't have any seating available for their patrons. But eating in the car isn't that bad. Also, the beverages they sell are ridiculously overpriced. The only other less-than-ideal thing about the Waffle Wagon is that they don't offer any savory toppings! I wish they'd take a queue from a successful waffle joint, like the infamous "Waffle Window", in Portland; and start serving up waffles with toppings like: bacon, Brie, and basil! We were in a hurry, but decided to stop by on our way out if there wasn't a line. There ended up not being a line so we rushed over to the truck. We started looking over the menu when an employee popped his head out of the window. He and my boyfriend bonded over pineapples (kindred spirits) and then he went over the menu with us.
