"I wonder why they call it worlds end", you may be wondering to yourself. I'll tell ya why: it's in the middle of fucking nowhere and you would never 'just happen to find yourself' at Worlds End. The only reason you'd be there is to go there - AND YOU SHOULD. My dad has a cabin just outside the State Park and I've been going there since I was a small child. There is not a whole lot to do, which I HATED as a child, but now appreciate and long for. A great day at Worlds End would be sitting on a beach chair with my feet in the creek reading a book. The next day I might take a long hike on one of the nature trails. There's nothing to do up there, but in a good way. And don't even think of picking up that cell phone, because it's not going to work. Much has been said about Worlds End's high spots and, indeed, the views from the tops of the mountains are breathtaking and well worth the drive to the top, I think the low points may be overlooked. Worlds End has the Loyalsock creek running through it. In fact it carved a huge valley out of the rock. The creek bed is littered with rocks, which makes for a particularly noisy stream. It is so relaxing to listen to and watch the creek pass by. Find a flat, warm rock and just lay back and let your tension float downstream. Even at today's gas prices, the drive to Sullivan County is still cheaper than a visit to a psychologist's office. Came here to check out the Rock Garden and the view from the Loyalsock Canyon Vista! The Rock Garden is full of giant boulders and crevices for the brave spelunkerer and rock climber. Be careful and don't take too many risky leaps from rock to rock!

This is probably my second or third favorite park in Pennsylvania. the main reason for that is just because there are not as many scenic vistas here... there is a pretty cool thing called the Rock Garden where these boulders protrude from the earth and are pretty high, like maybe 20 feet tall. They do have one great overlook at this park though, well worth it. lots of trails run right through the area, there are covered bridges, fishing, and camping galore! There is camping and a small swimming area. Total area is 780 acres.

I hiked through the park on the Loyalsock Trail and camped at the family campground. The part of trail I was doing was pretty rugged but beautiful. It was $21 a night for a non PA resident on a weekday and $19 for PA residents. Very clean bathrooms and a good food concession. Also, the lady working the park office was extremely helpful and friendly.

We had a great site in the pet. They didn't have a large walk area for the dogs. The hiking trails are wonderful.

However, there is not much shade and the biggest downfall, I would say, is that the restaurant on site is closed, and there is no camp store. There is a beer distributor on the property, but that's it. It would be nice to have a camp store like most campgrounds, and having the restaurant open would be a huge plus since there really isn't anything nearby. The hike to the falls is nice, and they are very pretty. If you like being in the middle of basically nowhere, this is a great little find. We did enjoy our time there, but there are some things that would make it a whole lot better.

It's very quiet there and the people are phenomenal that stay there. He has big plans for this campground and it takes people like you reading this to come support him. Go and stay there and get some much-needed relaxation. It doesn't matter if you're bringing a Hamic Tent RV Couch or the largest 5th Wheel you can think of there's room for you there. We stayed in cabin 1 and it was nice. Remember to bring comfortable bedding. There's a Camp beverage that has adult slushy's and most adult drinks. The campground bathrooms are clean and Showers are nice. There's a downhill hiking trail down to the Falls that are very nice. And if you if you're into Sasquatch, you will love this place. Camp store is growing by the day. They are still looking for a person to run the camp restaurant. Added bonus is There's a genaral Store, a half a mile from the camp ground that's perfect. Will go back for sure

Checkin process was efficient. the pet carrier was like new, withplenty of airflow. We could have the top covered to keep out the sun or while biking along the shadier parts, open for the dogs to have more "View". This was a new experience for all of us. We decided to rent the bigger bikes which have lots more features & could hold all our gear. There is a basket attached to the front of the bike & it has a bag in it to store plenty of items you want handy..They do have a more standard bike, but we think the bigger one was the right way to go- we could adjust the handlebars to suit us & it has a rack on the back for a cooler (or if you have toddlers, apparently you can get it set up with Child seats for one or two to ride there). The trail is a nice, groomed one with plenty of benches along the route. There is a nice large park with picnic tables along the creek & there is a terrific waterfall that you can walk alongside of on a set of stairs. Ebikes are definitely the way to travel this trail so that you have time to take advantage of all the sights & then zip back if need be. There are no "services" other than washrooms along the way, so you need to take water & snacks to last the day. When we returned the bikes at the end of the day, Kim took the time to engage in a pleasant conversation
