I'm still just as red as I was 2 wks post-op. According to Dr. Yaker, I'm one of those "outliers" and that it will go away with time but I'm skeptical, to say the least. I've been wearing "camouflage" make-ups to cover up for months. 2. HAIR DENSITY - By now, ~95% of transplanted hair should be present. You can see that density is clearly lacking on both sides (especially the right). I was informed on the day of surgery that two technicians will be performing the majority of the treatment, splitting left and right. As a clinician myself, I wasn't convinced that Dr. Yaker had full control of the procedure. Now I have different densities of hair on either side. 3. HAIR QUALITY - Most of my transplanted hair looks and feels like "pigtails" and not like my own hair. It's been the same for months and I don't see any improvement. I heard from another Dr. that when hair is too deeply transplanted, it can turn out as "pigtails" permanently. Overall, I think this is a catastrophic failure.
