So, imagine you're in a new area, looking for a place to grab some lunch and one of the few places around is a bar that most times has people spilling out the door and into the parking lot; but this time, there's no one around. You walk in. Conversation stops and the 5 or so people there, sitting at the bar, turn around and stare.
Uncomfortable, yet? Well, hell yeah. So was I. Being tired and cranky, I just kept walking toward the bar, asking in a loud voice, "Are you open, because all y'all are staring." It was exactly what you'd expect -- a toasted sandwich with cream cheese and jalapenos. If you're in the area and that is ever on the menu -- split it in two -- it's rich and filling. Between that, listening in on the gossiping between the locals, and reveling in the general laid back atmosphere, Wrangler Bar is a future destination next time I'm in the area.
