Miriam helped my wife and I find our first home during this crazy market. She was always willing to help and available when we needed, despite her busy schedule. She went way above and beyond. It took about 4 months for us to get an offer accepted but to absolutely no fault of her own. We were getting outbid left and right. We put in offers on more homes than I can remember and it really wears on you when your offer is not accepted. My wife and I were pretty defeated after each failed bid, but Miriam was positive and optimistic the right one would come around. Miriam was very knowledgeable of all the towns we were looking at in Bergen County. She was very helpful in going to open houses , looking up property values, history, communicating with the sellers/agents, and anything else you would need to know in buying a home. She also kept us level headed and made sure we didn't go way overboard in our offers based on comps of other homes that sold in the neighborhood. She kept us sane during the whole process and was very reassuring. After our offer was accepted on the home we purchased, she walked us through the entire process from start to finish. As first time home buyers, we didn't know which way was up. Thanks to Miriam, she was able to steer us in the right direction and was with us every step of the way. Even after we closed, she still responds to our questions and gives us recommendations on everything we need. She even checks up on us to see how things are going and to see if there's anything else we need or have questions about. Again, this is AFTER we already closed. Miriam is also great with kids. Our 2.5 y/o son absolutely adores her. He would always get so excited to go to showings and open houses if we told him that Miriam was going to be there. If I could have, there would be NO stars…read more They were the first name given to us by our insurance company to clean up a catastrophe in February. Our pergola on the deck tore away from the siding, taking the siding with it, trashing our deck due to snow damage. All Shawn came to "clean up" the debris two days later. There was still snow on the deck and they placed my table and eight chairs on top of each other on snow that was still to melt - the chairs cost about $1,000 each. They had no regard for our personal property. As the snow melted, the chairs shifted and some fell, causing damage. They pushed some snow off the deck and left it too close to the deck. The day after they left, the weather warmed up and the rain that was expected came. We have never had water in our basement - all of a sudden we had water coming in. As it turns out, the pile they left was now melting and had nowhere else to go, so it was coming into my basement. My son & his friend plowed & shoveled to push the snow away from the house and make a path for the snow to melt away from the house, but could niot touch the All Shawn pile - there were too many small pieces of debris, nails etc... left in the pile. It was too dangerous. All Shawn was made to come back and deal with the debris filled snow pile. They were so haphazard, careless, about it, that my husband had to go out and guide/help to get it done properly. I would not recommend this company. I did not have them come back to do the construction work to rebuild.

At first we were suspicious because the listing/seller agent kept saying 'we know these builders, they are premier builders, they are very nice and will fix anything wrong but nothing has ever gone wrong in a house they've built.' But who believes the guy trying to sell you the house?! Basically every home listing we saw had 'premier builder or prominent builder,' written on it. However, when we found a Realestate lawyer in the area, he mentioned 'oh these guys, they build great homes.' And then we found a home inspector who as soon as he heard who the builder was said, 'oh nothing is going to be wrong with this house. These builders use the best materials, the best methods, and go way above and beyond the legal and professional standards.' It was really great to hear how respected they were by multiple people. And even when I questioned that all luxury home builders must use the best materials, the home inspector told us we we be surprised at how many construction companies cut corners even on multimillion dollar homes. We haven't moved in the house yet, so will update incase it's not true!
