(Calls to other companies for pricing and availability were surprisingly hit and miss. They needed to come back and finish on a 2nd day as a result of their stringent quality of work (after locating the reference "monuments" in the area, the coordinates needed to be reprogrammed back at the office, otherwise results could have been off by a few inches, which would have been unacceptable). They were friendly, professional, and explained the process while they were doing it. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

So they came out again in 2017 to place new plastic caps on the markers and assured me that those caps would suffice. Just one week later, two of their markers are gone. The caps they use are so small that if your grass shifts even the slightest amount, you will be unable to find your marks without a metal detector. If you disagree, feel free to come to my house to attempt to find those two marks. While they were here in 2017, they offered to lend me a metal detector if the marks were lost again. They promptly reneged on that offer a week later.

I didn't realize that the survey might be incorrect until the builder next door built his foundation encroaching on my land. After looking closely at the survey, I saw what appeared to be a mistake. I sent them an email to that effect, asking them how they arrived at their conclusions. I was rudely told that the surveyors are intelligent and know what they're doing. I responded that if I am diagnosed with a disease, I want to see my biopsy and blood results, and still want to know how the diagnosis was arrived at, in spite of the fact that the doctor is very intelligent. I asked again and asked if the historical records for the house, which is 100 years old, were accessed and, if so, how I could access them. I was then told that I didn't pay enough to get that information (I was charged the typical fee for a survey... not less than any other quote I received). I asked how much they would charge to come back and redo the survey just on the side of the house in question. I was given a price of $250. When I agreed to the price, there was dead silence. No response. I let them know again that I was interested but they did not respond.
