The downside is that they don't always have the most convenient hours for someone with a busy life. They usually have some fun local items, including a pretty good amount of University of Kentucky paraphernalia. An added bonus of this hardware spot is that the Lone Oak area post office is in the store. You can mail packages, buy stamps, that kind of stuff.

I mainly come to Ollie's for comics. I was surprised to see that they had so few. I later went to a new location in Orlando and found the same situation. I guess that's normal for a brand new Ollie's. I still managed to make a few good finds, and the rest of the store was like any other Ollie's. Worth coming to every once in a while to see what closeouts they have. I expect the comics will be more full after a few shipments.

Lowe's store #2460 Paducah, KY. came out March 1, 2023 to give me an estimate on installing…read more siding, soffits and window trim. I signed a contract and paid them $8,500 for lumber and installation. The first promised date to install was April 19, 2023. I moved everything away from my home to make it easier for them. On April 19th no one showed up & no one called. I contacted "Josh" through text multiple times, and he would not respond. I contacted lowe's installation department & told them what was going on. I was then scheduled for installation multiple times and no one would show up and no phone calls to me telling me anything. They would give me another schedule date and then no one would show up. This happened multiple times. Finally got a date for install. December 26, 2023. They showed up for a couple days for 2 to 3 hours & they never returned. They did leave the soffits in our front yard since 12/23 they have been rained on and now the all the soffits are muddy. The workers also left a huge mess behind. They only installed a very small portion of soffits & what they did install is falling down.I have received emails from Lowe's on 10/11/23 & 12/27/23 stating that our installation was complete. I was also told the material that I paid for would arrive a few days before install. That never happened either! I paid for lumber material that I never received. The only thing I did receive was soffits and the workers brought that on 12/26/2023 I'm going on a year with this project from Lowe's & I decided I was done. I went to the store #2460 on 2/14/2024 wanting my money back. They said I had 2 days after I signed the contract to cancel. I have made plenty of attempts through the chain of commands to get this resolved. They keep passing me around. I lived up to my end of the contract, but Lowe's has not!!!! I have plenty of proof with text messages from Josh at Lowe's & emails to prove my case. If this doesn't get resolved very soon, then I will take them to court. James Vanden Brook

But today, I felt an employee was lurking, watching me look through the racks and I was uncomfortable. A piece of clothing had fallen to the floor near me, that I don't think I dislodged. The employee came right up near me, and hung it back up. I apologized despite not being sure I had done it. They said nothing back me, just gave me a dirty look. At that point I put back the shirt I was planning to pay cash for, and walked away. I glanced over my shoulder and they had already snatched up the shirt and moved it back to what I guess was a better spot. I just smiled as the person glared. Needless to say I won't be back for a loooong time if ever. Who treats their repeat cash paying customers this way? Three stars is generous, it's for the merchandise selection only.

Most florists just slap together whatever they have with little to no regard to your requests and will get attitude if you are specific, but the staff here was congenial and even verified the funeral arrangements and the flowers they had available before we committed. When I called, I was greeted with the most pleasant assistance and customer service, a can do attitude, extremely simple ordering process and the ability to even share any special requests I had for the arrangement - which I had! What was delivered was simply beautiful with so many different types of flowers - and they were all fresh! Great value for the money, timely delivery, beautiful floral arrangement and amazing service! I'm posting a 4/5 rating only because of communication - I was advised that once the arrangement had been delivered, I would receive notification - and I didn't. I had also specifically requested a picture of the arrangement be texted to me before it went out for delivery and, while I was told it would be, it wasn't.
