What a great bunch of guys! My horse trailer tack door lock was jammed, would not unlock. This is a big deal when your up early and want to head out for a horse ride on a beautiful fall day, and also plans to pick up a friend with her horse. Took my Honda lawn mower to be repaired. governor linkage was the issue. Was told it would b a couple of days before they could get to it. A week later, I called them. They hadn't looked at it. Then they called me & said it needed a car. They had replaced it last year. Told me it wouldn't run unless gas was poured into the carb. They wanted $82.00 to inform me of their prognosis. They wanted another $300.00 to reslove the carb issue. I declined. I went to pick the lawnmower up. The governor linkage was untouched. I asked what had been done to justify the $82.00 charge. A compression check. I DID NOT ASK FOR A COMPRESSION CHECK. Wyes guys used to be good. They were bought out 11/2 ago. Now they're a money pit! I fixed the governor linkage myself . The carb is fine. Engine runs perfect. I fixed the govenor in less than 2 minutes. I videoed the engine running & took it over to them within the hour of picking it up. Should've fixed it myself in the first place. They've LOST my business forever! read more
