Bathrooms were spotless. We were served 3 wonderful meals each day with attention to our allergies/dislikes. The hunting guides were very knowledgeable about the area. Cyndi was a gracious host. Our party included a 2 1/2 year old and she was great, even letting him "help" her once or twice. We were worried as the décor included breakable items, but took advantage of a full playground/park nearby which kept him busy for hours. The town is small and friendly, but not isolated. We had a wonderful time!

The location is convenient -- central to town and only a couple miles from the airport. Rooms at first seemed clean and up to standard. However, that changed quickly. One of our team members found a bug in his bed, and naturally, everyone's first thought was bed bugs. We immediately notified the front desk, but instead of taking it seriously, the staff brushed it off and claimed it was "just a stink bug." The photos we have tell a very different story. Bed bugs are a serious issue, and the complete lack of concern or urgency from hotel management was unacceptable. No apology, no offer to inspect other rooms, nothing. Because of this, we're in the process of moving our entire team elsewhere. If you value cleanliness and basic accountability, you may want to think twice before booking here. I want to be clear this was not in my room but in two separate rooms people in my party had.

The rooms are a great size, perfect for extended stays and my team had nothing but good things to say about theirs as well. That said, the late-night front desk service could use some improvement. When I arrived to check in after a long day of travel, the front desk employee answered a call on his personal cell phone and made me wait. Once he finally checked me in, he clearly saw my status, but there was still a noticeable lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. Not something I normally make a big deal about, but the timing made it stand out. Breakfast is your typical hotel continental setup, but with a nice selection and consistently fresh, hot coffee which I appreciated each morning. One thing worth mentioning: this is the first hotel I've been to in a long time where employees weren't wearing any kind of uniform or even business-casual attire. Everyone was dressed extremely casually, almost like fellow guests. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely noticeable. On the positive side, the daytime front desk staff is fantastic and super friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Despite a few quirks, this is still a great option in Aberdeen. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
