The location is convenient -- central to town and only a couple miles from the airport. Rooms at first seemed clean and up to standard. However, that changed quickly. One of our team members found a bug in his bed, and naturally, everyone's first thought was bed bugs. We immediately notified the front desk, but instead of taking it seriously, the staff brushed it off and claimed it was "just a stink bug." The photos we have tell a very different story. Bed bugs are a serious issue, and the complete lack of concern or urgency from hotel management was unacceptable. No apology, no offer to inspect other rooms, nothing. Because of this, we're in the process of moving our entire team elsewhere. If you value cleanliness and basic accountability, you may want to think twice before booking here. I want to be clear this was not in my room but in two separate rooms people in my party had.

Update since the owner decided to add his 2 cents below: I drove by multiple times and saw multiple staff members without masks and customer crowding on a Sunday. Despite being "outdoors" all of your employees should be mandated to wear masks, as they are not always 6 ft away from others. I'm sorry that you think you're taking appropriate COVID precautions but I'm a medical professional and I know how infection spreads.

It is a historic building and feels like a special place to stay. The staff were very nice and friendly. The lobby and 2 restaurants are on the 1st floor and the hotel rooms are on the 2nd floor. The upper floors are for residents. There is free parking in a garage behind the hotel. Many other restaurants in walking distance. Our room stayed cool, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was updated and nice. There was a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room and an ice machine down the hall. We would definitely stay here again.

The lobby is comfortable and a good place to meet and hang out. They have fresh chocolate chip cookies out as well as coffee and tea. Very nice stay overall.
