It was a long road, and knowing Mr. Davidson and his staff were always a phone call/email away, was comforting. Everything he said he could, he did and more. Unfortunately, after a lot of work and attempts with the other party, we were unable to mediate. At that point, litigation was the only answer. I decided to pause for a little bit. Again, Mr. Davidson and his staff did an excellent job. I had the best representation, from point A to B. Even with the hiccups and COVID, they made the heirship process effortless. Now, to jump to 2025. I reached out by email to see if I could get a letter that was certified mailed to the other party. I received an email within the hour, and received an email with the letter, less than 24 hours later. I appreciated the quick response, considering it was a letter from five years ago. The complaint in the reviews from Sept. 29th: I can tell you, I am a real person, and my review is genuine and authentic. I see the group has grown significantly. I hope that hasn't changed the quality of their services.

I promise I would NOT take it. Byran is very unprofessional. Byran missed a court date that he scheduled is UNBELIEVABLE that he forgot. But he didn't forget the court date. He had NOT filed the final document is the real reason he didn't appear on the court date. He called the Executor who is my daughter stating he would filed the final document that week which was September 10, 2025. It is Oct 29, 2025. And NOTHING NO FINAL DOCUMENT has been filed. I actually has several and I do mean several ....emails of Byran and his assistant dated back 3 yrs of hI'm and his assistant stating they are taken step toward finalizing my mother's estate. Yet as of this day NOTHING. My mother's house was sold 4 yrs ago and my sibling and I has not gotten paid from the sale. Our home that our mother left to my sibling and I was severely damaged by a mistaken shooting. There was NO mortage on our home. My mother had paid her home off years ago. Byran gave incorrect legal advice concerning the insurance money. Stating "Whoever purchased the house, it was their money to repair the house. I knew that wasn't true. Because the insurance adjuster Eric told me long before the check was issuer, because there was NO MORTGAGE on the home. It was our (My sibling and I) decision if we wanted to use the money to repair the home. That $36 Thousand was to be divided between the heirs since the home was sold. Not all heir wanted to sell our mother home. More than half wanted to repair it. But Byran advices the executor to sell without asking hearing the heirs opinion. Soooooo much more that I can say and reveal about our unprofessional experience and action of Byran. I would be writing a book. Because there was no mortage. That money was to be divided between the heirs since it was sold. Reading some of these reviews make me believe not all of these are real clients of this office. Or maybe they didn't have Byran Gramble working on their behalf. I do not recommend this Law Firm AT ALL!!!!!! ALL ABOVE IS FACTS ACCOUNTS. NELDRA JEAN CARROLL

I initially started out with a consultation because I was so confused about what to do after my mom passed. It had been months since she passed and I was just going to walk away and leave her business affairs unfinished. After taking care of my mom for a year and a half while she was sick, I was exhausted. To say the least, I was a mess upon meeting Ms. Gray. Ms. Gray and her associates were so caring. I felt at ease the moment we met. On that initial consultation she explained all procedures and processes THOROUGHLY! I still didn't know what action I was going to take, though if I was going the "proper" route, it would be with Ms. Gray's office. For months I did nothing, and put of the blue received a call directly from Ms. Gray asking about my well-being and if I need anything. It was then I decided it was time to do the right thing and close out my mother's business affairs. Ms. Gray held my hand and guided me the entire time. She kept me up to date the whole time. Made sure I stayed on top of what I needed to do to make the process continued. She sent an angel my way to help with my mom's property. A year and some change later everything is complete and I know my mother would be grateful for all Tawana Gray has done to make sure she left this earth with everything in-line to how she ran her life while she was here. Thank you so much Ms. Gray, you have been heaven sent!

I've sent multiple follow-ups to confirm the refund and have received nothing but silence. I gave this firm every opportunity to do the right thing. What I received instead was a waste of time, energy, and trust, not to mention legal representation that fell far below professional standards. I have the receipts. Literally. Screenshots, emails, invoices, all of it. And I will now begin publicly sharing these across platforms, because silence and avoidance do not absolve accountability. I am no longer seeking a partial refund. I am demanding a full refund for the immense toll this experience has taken, emotionally, financially, and professionally. This is no longer about courtesy; it's about ethics. And I will continue to speak out until accountability is met. I urge others to thoroughly research before placing their trust, and their money, in the hands of YoungBlood law.

Client Review - Proceed with Caution…read more I wish I had positive feedback to share about this law firm, but unfortunately, my experience compels me to issue a serious warning--particularly regarding Attorney Brooke E. Baker. I retained this firm with a $5,000.00 deposit specifically to initiate and represent me in a De Novo hearing for my divorce. Over $2,300.00 was spent--yet no De Novo hearing was ever scheduled. Instead, they set a pretrial conference and misrepresented it as a De Novo. When I contacted the court directly, the court coordinator confirmed--not once, but twice--that no De Novo hearing had been scheduled. Despite explicit instructions that I wanted to review all filings before they were sent to the court, I never received a single document for review. There was also a $350.00 incidental charge for travel, printing 300 pages, and court appearances--yet Attorney Baker never stepped foot in court for me, never traveled, and I never received any hard copies. I received a $795.00 bill on Day 1, and even after terminating representation within a month due to lack of progress and transparency, they continued charging my retainer--like the $22.00 fee for records I told them I would obtain myself. They ignored my billing dispute despite instructing me to email them invoice concerns, then falsely claimed they had responded when no communication exists. This firm appears polite until you begin asking tough questions or holding them accountable. The work Brooke claimed to complete lacks supporting documentation or results. Her actions--and lack of them--have delayed my case and put me at serious risk of losing my home. This law firm, and especially Attorney Brooke E. Baker, left me with no progress, no hearing, and no accountability. Listen closely to what is said, verify everything with the court, and do not be swayed by friendly conversation. In my case, what was promised was not delivered. Ask yourself: when the court and the attorney give conflicting information--who do you believe?

Communication was inconsistent and often nonexistent--calls and messages went unanswered for long stretches, and we frequently had no idea what was happening or what the strategy was. When we did receive updates, they were vague and did not reflect the level of preparation we expected. We felt we had to chase basic information and push for action that should have been routine in a serious criminal matter. The lack of clear guidance and urgency caused our family significant stress. I'm sharing this so others know to ask very direct questions upfront about communication expectations, case strategy, and what steps will be taken immediately. Unfortunately, our confidence in the representation broke down, and we ultimately had to move on to new counsel.

Faced with the full force of the Tarrant County Justice System, I was immediately and thoroughly instructed and informed by Mister Varghese on what my options were moving forward. After some discussion, I had the honor of meeting with Mrs. Burks, who checked in with me daily to offer guidance, support and morale. At this time, I was an out-of-work teacher. I had little to no savings, and very few visble prospects to continue supporting my family. after communicating this, the front office of this amazing firm helped me to work out a reasonable payment plan, while offering a very affordable beginning price point on too of their willingness to work with me. After years of plodding and hand-wringing on Tarrant County's part, Mrs. Burks was able to assist me in a very simple plea deal, assuring my name and reputation will remain in tact, and that I might move forward with my life without this dark cloud hanging over me. I can not recommend the services of Varghese-Sommerset enough. If you need help, advice, or the best lawyer in the state- this is who to call.
