This is why I'm giving It a three. One: the seats in there are so awful and so close you can't even enjoy the show because u are constantly adjusting to be comfortable. Two: they had a comedian who I'm guessing was not the main girl Nancy and he made a very inappropriate joke asking how much the girl weighed in front and she was definitely heavy set and the whole room you could tell did not like that! Three: they legit ripped off two dance scenes from the movie burlesque. I get using the music from the movie but the last number the dance moves are almost identical. Did they watch the movie and go...let's just use this. I will agree with someone else that the whole art of burlesque is to tease and work up to that being topless but the girls are just straight up coming out topless. They sold me a VIP ticket in front the stage on the right and on the map it showed I would be able to see the whole stage. Where my sister and I sat the light blocked our entire view. I took my husband to the show as a surprise. We had never been to a show before this. (We have been married for almost 25 years) I guess we have been busy for a long time! Lol I bought the vip package. The venue is small and intimate setting. So, there are no Bad seats. We sat in the second row and my husband was on the aisle. Good thing because the ladies picked him out and actually used him in the show as well as paying him some attention during the show. He was embarrassed at first, but was a good sport! I loved it! When the dancers came down to the crowd to use the center pole, you couldn't see much. The couple in seats 1 and 2 had it even worse. It's a small venue. VIP seating allows you to get closer and PINK seating gets you front row and/or a table. The drinks are very expensive by Vegas standards. 3.5 stars Located off the main casino floor inside Bugsy's Cabaret at the Flamingo, X Burlesque is a throwback to the classic art form of burlesque. First off, the ladies need to be acknowledged for their hard work they put into their bodies since they're all rockin' the flat abs, lean legs and tight butts. They're gorgeous with perfect smiles, look extremely sexy and you can tell from the way they perform they really give it their all. Second, I love the small venue space where you'll have no problems seeing the action. We were seated third row from the stage off to the right in general admission. I treated the husband and paid $65 per ticket for a 75 minute show which isn't bad at all. I didn't think it was worth it to pay the VIP ticket since the venue is intimate enough to enjoy the views from any vantage point. If you'd like to be in the center of the action and get up close and personal, buy the aisle seats (pink circle) or the front row ones. (Ironically enough, all the front row seats were occupied by retirees without their wives. Viva Las Vegas huh!) Third, the variety of musical acts lasted about 5 minutes per song and ranged from staged routines with different music and/or fantasy set up. Rock, country, pop and hip hop songs combined with leather whips, cowgirl fantasies, 50's style, sweet cheerleaders, etc. The classic strip tease to Michael Buble's "Fever" was really top notch. (and yes, I'm biased because I'm a Buble fan) I can understand the negative reviews on yelp, especially if you've been to Vegas numerous times and have seen it all. Putting things into perspective, don't expect this to be a cirque show -- it'll never be that kind of caliber. Went to this show for my friends bachelorette party. The choreography was great, and it's truly impressive the amount of dances these ladies needed to learn. All very gorgeous. My issue is the beginning of the show the intro showed a voluptuous women on a cartoon and a bunch of men chase after her, and the actual show was all skinny perfectly fit, small breasted, white women. I just thought there would be more variety of women of all sizes and colors. Another issue, it was my first burlesque show but I thought it was going to be more true Vegas style, I thought burlesque was "art of the tease" and these girls came out with their boobs out the first second of the show. It you get a general admission ticket you have no room to get up if you needed to go to the bathroom. We bought our tickets online at halfpricetickets which was a better deal that going to the place on the strip that discounts show tickets. We ordered VIP and were instructed to arrive an hour early. Once it was show time we were seated in a room smaller than we expected. Which was nice except the acoustics were very loud at times. The show was a couple hours long and even though the hot-bodied dancers were really fun to watch, it would have been nice to have more than the 6 or so girls. We expected to see all sorts of girls - not that there was anything wrong with the ones we were oogling, it was just repetitive after a while. A comedian came on halfway through the show and the room erupted in laughter with her smart and witty jokes. She was fast-tongued and really involved the audience in her skit. We both agreed she could have stayed on longer. Very enjoyable. My biggest complaint was the seating. Why on earth would someone split the room in half to have chairs facing each other, and then make everyone turn their head to see the stage?! It was extremely uncomfortable. Plus, the actual seats were uncomfortable too. We talked to one girl who left the show 3 different times to stretch. Every person we talked to complained about this. Pictures could be taken with the girls for an additional fee after the show. They weren't as scantily clad as during the show and didn't seem worth the $10. No cameras allowed during the show. We very much liked the intimate setting (250 max) as opposed to a larger style theater - as there did not appear to be a bad seat in the house. The room was a little small for what the girls have to do when they get on the stripper pole. Very seductive pretty girls. Bring a sweater - it's freezing. So. Burlesque isn't a strip club. It's not tits-a-go-go from the beginning, it's not all faced paced numbers and who can get their clothes off fastest. It's SUPPOSED to be sensual, erotic, arousing, suggestive, and the money shot is the nudity. These routines seemed to be about here have some naked boobs and an arse shake and call it good. They were good dancers and nice to look at, but I wasn't "seduced" at all. There's no page for the x burlesque university but I took the class too. There was one Hetero male in our class who kept disrupting the class with 38584959939485838495 questions - took him 25 mins to sign the damn waiver and his questions were along the lines of "what's blush?" I felt like we didn't get a full class because he was disruptive. I also felt that there was too much time/focus on the show girl make up side and less on the actual burlesque. The comedienne Nancy?
