WOW! First timer! Magic Mike has been on the bucket list--so my daughter and I celebrated our birthdays together here last night. It was not what I expected. First impression was overwhelming on my scent senses. The smell across the lobby and theater is very much different. Not exactly your casino pumped air of freshness nor the aroma of a smoke lingering casino but rather it really stank bad mixed with overbearing cologne. As you walk into the theater prior to showtime you are greeted by ushers that escort you to your seats. That part was very much appreciated. We got there early with plenty of time to look around and put in a drink order. However, we watched the almost empty theater we walked into early, fill up and everyone else get their orders taken, and we were neglected. The show started promptly around 7:30 PM with an entrance of fog spreading throughout the room. I started choking on the fumes. This was an immediate downner. And then around 7:45PM a server finally came up around our area. I couldn't hear a word the waiter said --My Daughter ordered a mocktail and paid cash. The man brought back the Cash and decided to tip himself. Thought that was pretty cocky of him. It didn't say anywhere on the menu that the tip was included. The show was extremely loud, so I'm glad I brought my earplugs. The lighting and continuous room scents spraying into the seating area was also very overwhelmingly disturbing and an issue especially with my asthma and allergies. From where we were sitting in our own private booth under the main entrance of the stage stairwell where the guys came out, it was a pretty cool view. Performance wise--The most memorable part of the show was every time the guys came past us they would give us high fives. I absolutely loved the hip hop dancing and the female hostess she was the most entertaining person in the show in my opinion. She was humorous, sweet, and a great storyteller. There was a male singer--he has a great voice and stage presence but didn't really understand his part of the show. It was kind of disconnected. The water dance scene with Mike and the female dancer was so good! Then let's talk about the male review--if you're comparing these guys to the movie then there's definitely some differences. The choreography could use some more work with the group pieces. The individual b-boy dances were much better, though! The dancers all very fit and in their element but most of them appeared extremely young. And ultimately, I was completely in awestruck of this performance turning into an audience participation show that at times appeared as mini sexual fantasy orgies throughout the room -- making it uncomfortable and awkward. The dancers would appear very aggressive towards audience engagement... I was not expecting this and I lost respect for the purpose behind Magic Mike. I don't think in the movie it was intended to portray all of this. What happened to the elegance appeal in a females beauty and being a gentle-man towards her? The behavior in the room was completely inappropriate. I feel strongly that the producers should take another look at how this performance might affect audiences. Most woman probably wouldn't have been as honest as me. But the film was much better. This performance needs to be censored as X-rated and aggressive sexual partner audience participation-- now I'm wondering if this is even remotely legal. As the show concluded, we left the theater. I felt dizzy as can be. I had only water. But possibly the room effects just made me spiral. I was however excited to pick up our pictures the photographer took at the entrance in the beginning. I'm a Las Vegas local and returning guest who used to rave about Magic Mike Live and recommend it to everyone. Unfortunately, this visit felt like a completely different show. The dancers were clearly talented and athletic, but most of the lineup appeared overwhelmingly young--several looked barely into adulthood. If you're in your early 20s, this may be exactly the casting you want. But as a 40-year-old woman, I felt more maternal than attracted, and it gave me a major ick rather than making me feel sexy and entertained. The disconnect felt even stranger when the MC mentioned that she herself was 35. Pat, Vince and Mark still brought the confident, grown-man energy I remembered loving, and I was told Brandon was out that week. Maybe I caught an unusually young-skewing lineup, but guests have no way of knowing before spending the money. The show desperately needs more age diversity and mature, charismatic men alongside the younger dancers. We were also seated behind a member of the production staff who received repeated attention and distracted from both our view and interaction, despite our seats being sold as full-view. To the show's credit, the box office manager took my concerns seriously and handled that issue professionally. I used to love this show and genuinely want to want to return. But based on the experience I paid for that night, I can no longer recommend it to women looking for the mature, grown-man fantasy the show used to deliver. read more

Booked impromptu Magic Mike Live tickets and we walked away amazed. The show is filled with technical dancing and choreography that is artistic (and tasteful). The segments with musicians, singers and acrobatic were great and added to the excitement of the show. Mixture of music was perfect and loved the way the show closes. We sat on the lower level corner seat on a high bar stool, there wasn't really a bad seat. The venue is a smaller where you can see mostly everything that's happening and the performances are happening up, down and all around. The workers at the venue were great from the moment you arrive. You're treated like a Guest not just another Vegas tourist, and the front of house service was superb. Bartenders were great and had a nice pace of checking in and delivery of drinks. Highly recommend you go see Magic Mike Live! We walked away saying we would go see again and spend a little extra to sit closer. read more

I had one of the most insulting experiences here. I came to celebrate my friend's bachelorette party, expecting a fun and entertaining night. During the show, one of the dancers approached me with a rose he was biting. I tried to take the rose with my hand, but he repeatedly insisted that I bite it instead. I was clearly uncomfortable and did not want to participate that way. Afterward, he abruptly threw the rose into my face and walked away. I was completely shocked and humiliated. My entire group of girlfriends witnessed it and were just as stunned by how rude and disrespectful the interaction was. It didn't feel playful or entertaining. It felt intentionally demeaning. I understand audience interaction is part of the show, but no guest should be pressured into physical interaction after expressing discomfort, let alone be treated with disrespect afterward. It put a damper on what was supposed to be a special celebration, and I left feeling embarrassed and insulted. read more

This is what you get when you combine theatrics, hip thrusts, aerial art, and one very out-of-the-box storyline that makes for good laughs while with your friends out on the town. MML (Magic Mike Live) is hosted within The Sahara, so it makes for a great opportunity to have dinner at the nearby Italian restaurant and walk down the hall to the show. You'll realize as you approach the theater it is on an upper level and you'll need to utilize the escalators in order to access the theater. The experience starts as soon as you wait in line which includes a grab-n-go photo op that you can then purchase if desired. If souvenoirs aren't your thing, after you get your tickets scanned you'll find yourself in a waiting lobby that has a full service bar. Plenty of standing room and there were a few tables in the back that were used for a private event when we were there. Once we grabbed our drinks, we went down to find our seats. Definitely keep in mind they have servers taking care of you at your seats, so no need to fret! Now this is not a strip club nor are these exotic dancers, this is a true proper vegas show. The biggest way to decipher this is that 1) You cannot tip dollar bills (you'd be surprised how many times I saw this attempted lol) and 2) They hand you fake dollar bills to throw out. Now I won't go into much detail of the show, but my favorite part was the spinning partner dance that was literally making it rain. #IYKYK Fun time to experience at least once. Fun show to watch for a bachelorette or a milestone birthday! We went for my friends 40th and it was quite entertaining because their dance moves are based on magic mike. I guess you have to watch the movie. This is not chippendales! So no awkward limp schlong helicoptering around. It's about the dance moves, and they got it. Some performance they take off their clothes but leave on the boxer briefs. There are also female performers too. If you want to be on stage, make sure you wear pants! Of all the male revue show we have seen, this one is probably the one we would recommend since it does have male dancers that interact with the crowd, but they also have water and aerial acts towards the end which are well performed and amazing. Incredible show so much fun!! I was in town for a convention and decided to treat myself to this show - best decision. I went by myself and had an absolute blast. The ticketing process is really smooth and you have the option to take a photo as you walk in. Once inside there is a bar area to grab a drink before heading into the show. The show itself was a lot of fun, but our experience with the photo package left us feeling disappointed and misled. After the show, we purchased two photo books for $50 each (a total of $100) because we were specifically told that buying two photo books would include free access to download all of the photos taken that evening. That promise was the only reason we spent the extra money. When we got home and entered our access code, we were surprised to find that we were required to pay an additional $80 per photographer (total of $160) to download the full photo album. This was completely different from what we had been told at the venue. Had we known there would be another $80 charge, we never would have purchased the two photo books. We relied on the information provided by the staff, and it was frustrating to discover that the offer wasn't honored. What makes this especially disappointing is that we attended the show to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. We wanted the photos to be a special keepsake from a memorable evening, but instead this experience left her with a bad taste on what should have been a fun celebration, leaving her with a bad memory of being cheated. I hope Magic Mike will either honor what was promised by providing access to the full photo album or refund the $100 we spent on the photo books. Two champagne glasses of LaMarca Prosecco will cost you 50 bucks, which includes the automatic gratuity. Better to go to the liquor store and buy a bottle of LaMarca for 20 bucks and drink it before the show! Performance: the performers are amazing. Besides that they are super hot they really are performers, they dance and sing well. My favorite was the acrobatics and af course when they take of their shirts hahaha. I felt like they are non judgmental as well even if you are a guy/gay they will dance with you. I felt the need to write this review because I am extremely disappointed by the lack of hospitality and compassion shown by the staff during the show. I am a Type 1 diabetic and tend to have low blood sugars, especially in hot weather. Because of this, I always carry snacks and a drink with me for medical purposes. Before entering, security told me that this would be allowed due to my medical condition. As we go through the cocktail area and into the show, we were stopped by not one, not two, not three, but four different ushers to verify our tickets. It wasn't until the fourth usher that I experienced a problem. She snatched the drink out of my hand and told me that I was not allowed to have it. After explaining that I am a Type 1 diabetic and needed it for medical reasons, she told me she needed to verify whether my story was true before returning it. I don't believe I would have been half as pissed off if she had not physically taken the drink from my hand and treated me with such suspicion and disrespect over a medical condition that I have no control over. After this interaction, two other ushers approached me to express sympathy and mention that they were also diabetic, which feels like a lie and no understanding of the actuality of the condition . While I appreciate their attempt to relate, it didn't resolve the situation or make me feel supported it just kept pissing me of. Eventually, their "director," Elsa, came to speak with me. She expressed understanding but placed the blame on casino security rather than taking responsibility for her staff's actions, despite the fact that every other staff member who checked our tickets had no issue with my medical supplies until the fourth usher. The entire encounter gave condescending c*nt. To make me more pissed off, I was told that waitstaff would come to our seats to take drink orders and ensure I had access to beverages if needed. However, no one ever came to serve us in the upper section. And Mrs. Elsa girl was no where in sight after ensuring she would be there to support in any way. My issue here is not with the policy itself. I get it no outside food and drinks. My issue is with the way I was treated, with suspicion, disrespect, and a complete lack of understanding regarding a serious medical condition. I feel like use the one brain cell you have to educate yourself on conditions you are so quick to dismiss. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides better training on how to appropriately and respectfully accommodate guests with medical needs or quit your jobs if you're so miserable and rude. read more

But like genuinely why was this one of the best shows I've seen all year? I wasn't originally planning on seeing Magic Mike but boy am I glad. We sat close to the staircase which is technically behind the main stage, but it really didn't matter because there were so many dancers all around us that we were always able to see the action. Here are some of my favorite parts/observations of the show: - I really enjoyed this concept as I feel like this really is just for the female gaze. In a world full of strip shows, this is a great refresher! - I appreciate that the guys were both hot and can dance. I couldn't believe the dancing they did on the audience members, so hot!! - I love that the dancers were indiscriminate to grinding on shes, hes, theys. There was a couple in front of us where after the dancer grinded on the wife, he asked if he could grind on the husband and he said yes. I never threw my money faster. - I also appreciate how many different effects the whole theater had from so many costume changes to drums coming down the ceiling. The special effects team really did the most. Of course there were parts that were unnecessary. The whole unicorn childhood make-believe friend was extremely weird. It kind of felt very anti-feminism as it kind of infantilized women as people who still talk to their make-believe friend? However, if you don't focus on those weird parts, I think that this is an extremely fun thing to go to with friends and family. Also, I would say that you don't need to be a woman just to have fun! When I booked this venue,I had whimsical thoughts of that Magic Mike movie scene with Genuwine's song Pony. The show was so much more and I was enthralled the whole time. This is not your average male strip show, it was highly skilled choreographed performances with dance routines, aerial ropes, live music (singing, piano playing and drumming). The performers were all good looking, chiseled and had great showmanship. It was sexy and provocative but also classy and fun. The storyline was a bit blah; but we all know we don't go there for the storyline. I was worried where I booked if it was a good seating area, but the show is set up with 360 degree views. It was super fun seeing the audience get crazy and interacting with the performers. It was nice to see plenty men in the audience (straight and gay couples). It was my little sister's birthday, and we got these tickets from a friend. From the start, the service getting into the event was great. Security and ticket check-in were smooth, and the staff helped us get seated without any issues. We had a table on the floor behind VIP, which seemed like a good spot. Unfortunately, once we were seated, everything changed. We never received any table service. At first, I thought maybe they didn't offer drink service. But then I noticed there was a menu on the table. Not one person came by to take an order -- not even for water. That was really frustrating. Why have a menu if no one is going to serve you? I stepped out to ask about getting service and was told we were "cut off." That made no sense. I do not drink or do any type of drugs(my job I would love too tho) I was the one driving and just trying to make sure my sister had a good time on her birthday. It was disappointing and honestly confusing. I ordered water at the bar outside and those bartenders female and male are horrible people. At that point, we were ready to leave just so we could get some water elsewhere. On top of that, the show itself was mediocre and felt very staged. The emcee sounded scripted, and the dancers looked like they were just hitting their marks without much energy or personality. I enjoyed watching the VIP ladies interaction with the dancers. The rest of the dance hall was sitting down bored I'm glad we got the tickets for free because I would not pay for this experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. SO MUCH FUN!!! Wow. I've been to Vegas too many times to count, but this was easily one of the greatest things I've ever done there! My friend and I planned a girls trip to Vegas and were debating between a Cirque show and Magic Mike. Since we were sans-husbands, we figured why not Magic Mike! Such a great decision. We sat in the tables right behind the couches. This gave us the perfect view of the stage and allowed us to be right in the middle of the action! If you're a pair, I'd recommend choosing the two front seats. While you might have an image of what Magic Mike is like, dare I say this show was somehow wholesome? Don't get me wrong, they were going through the audience and taking their shirts off, but this isn't a strip tease. If you're looking for naked parts, all you're getting is abs. Instead, it was just so cute seeing everyone dancing and going all in on the party! You'd hear cute squeals as the guys would make eye contact with someone in the audience or get up on the table next to them. This is also a highly inclusive environment. Girls, gays, theys- all welcome! We had two cutie grooms celebrating their bachelor party right behind us and they both got a little lap dance treat from the dancers! The vibes were immaculate and just so so much fun! I did not want it to end. Oh and I didn't even mention how great the dancers were. They were so talented! There are some really impressive performances and the overall show is impressive for both the talent and the atmosphere. Her over-the-top, theatrical delivery felt distracting and actually took away from the flow of the show rather than enhancing it. I found it overstimulating to the point where I had to step out and take a breather, which was disappointing given that we were front row for a bachelorette party and paid premium for our seats. I also felt some of her bits dragged on and pulled focus from the dancers. The repeated yelling "unicorn" bit in particular became overwhelming and honestly bored me after a while. No shade to her at all-- this is purely personal preference-- but I genuinely believe the show would be even better with less MC involvement and more emphasis on these amazing athletes themselves. They are constantly moving around and even jumped up on the balcony area to entertain those guests. There are a few negatives that I hope the manager will consider changing to make the experience better: - the female MC and the weird unicorn storyline is unnecessary. Let's be honest, we are all there to see some hot men, not some woman and her unicorn dreams. It killed the sexy vibe. Let's stick with the hot men dancing and taking off their clothes. - although they take your pictures before the show, it would have been better to take one with some of the dancers especially if your going to charge $40. It is very rare for me to give a place not five stars. I was beyond disappointed with the show. We came out here for a bachelorette trip, which I would say 95% of the women that were there were for the same reason. Makes complete sense. I will say the rating does not correlate to the performers, dance skills. I think the man danced well, the choreography was nice, and the overall premise of the show was fun. However, the price that we paid in order to watch did not reflect in the entertainment. We all were very disappointed and truly expected more. Roughly the idea is that each bride would get their 10 seconds of fame with a dancer. So I'm having a bit more intensity than others. That intensity is greatly based off of the price of your ticket. The more you spend the better you're gonna get. However, I still think That each bride should get some form of recognition. It is her special trip and even if they spent the lease on their price, they should get something. It makes them feel left out or almost not wanted because of it. I know it is hard to make sure every single bride or whatever the reason the group is there their time, but by asking about why you are coming each show prior knows roughly how many women need their moment and can work with that. I as the maid of honor felt so bad that my bride got nothing. That we were left all feeling abandoned. We also did not understand about the fake money. We got why but it just didn't feel like it went with the show. I got a corona and a water and my total for that was $22. read more

What a show! We booked this show for my friend's bachelorette party and it was so worth it! The dancers, the moves, the energy, everything was electrifying! Two of the dancers went up to one of my friends and it was so fun watching her have her moment! The bride was a little shy so she said no to the dancers who came up to her! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to celebrate with their girlfriends or just friends in general! You could even bring family as long as they're open to having a but of a wild type of fun! read more

If you haven't seen Magic Mike Live, I highly recommend you check out the show. It's a great show with lots of energy, dancing, and singing. They're very active with the audience participating. They do serve alcoholic beverages and cocktails. There's souvenirs that you can purchase, as well as photos taken of you and your friends you came with for a fee. The only thing I'd say is not get seats in section 408 because the railing blocks your very if you seat back on the couch. Otherwise, you'd need to be 6 feet plus to be able to see without the railing blocking your view. read more

I'm not here to go back and forth with you, my rating on my experience was what I experienced so stop trying to put the blame on me stating that it is shown on the receipt. The waiter brought me the receipt wrapped around my credit card, and only had the 2nd receipt for me to sign which had the spot for tip, so i tipped. Not until I got back to my room and unwrapped the receipt did I see that I was already charged for tax and tip. That was deceitful. Most places give you both not wrap it around your card. However, I was out to have a good time so I didn't even try to get in contact with the venue about it. To note, it is bad customer service to go through someone's experience and rating and try to make it as if the customer did something wrong. But hey they say there isn't good customer service anymore so I shouldn't be surprised by your response. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by Magic Mike! I was expecting it to be the cheesiest show ever, but it was so well done. The guys do sickening choreo, and then sort of tease you before getting undressed. I really enjoyed the storyline and all of the different acts. Each guy had a different song by himself, and there were two acts where they had a woman and man dancing on stage. All of the dancers are so talented! We were seated near the front, celebrating a bachelorette, and I got a lot of special attention in my bachelorette gear. Everyone at our table actually got a lap dance, so we were glad we paid the extra money to sit up front! Plus we had a sever bringing drinks. My only critique is that I'd love to see some body diversity among these muscle hunks. Put in a dude with a DadBod who can really dance. I think that would be soo appealing to women who like different types of men! But overall a wonderful show, and the guys were very respectful ! read more

This was one of those things where I think every penny spent was worth it. The vibes were amazing and all the workers were super sweet. Shoutout to the bartender outside the theatre he was amazing and super nice, not to mention the drinks were delicious. If you interact with the dancers just as much as they interact with the crowd trust you will leave satisfied.
