The staff is friendly and helpful and all of the literature is in German. (We are in Germany, after all..) There is an area for greeting cards, an area for magazines, another for little souveniers/toys relating to books. German school kids can also get their supplies here. Supplies are very specific for each class in Germany, so it helps to have a pro get them for you. Parking is fairly easy and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Upon my walking in, I was almost tackled by a woman telling me that I couldn't carry my bag (purse) around the store and she pointed to the lockers in which I was to lock it up. The request could have been friendlier. It is not kind to treat customers as if you feel they are going to steal something from your store!! Within 5 minutes of looking around for sweaters for my 5th grade daughter who was with me, she pointed out that other women had their purses. I just HAD to make this point to the same lady that was rude to me, my first time in this establishment. They have a cool feature where you can design your stuff at home, it'll give you a code and you can plug that code in to the computers downstairs and it'll tell you how to get your items. For some items you have to go to a representative for them to pull it. So you can't grab everything yourself but it's otherwise good. As for COVID precautions, there's plenty of hand sanitizer and there are markings on the floor for safe social distancing.
