I liked that they take the students out to a more private area where you can feel less intimidated. I would highly recommend. My son and I attended their four day school and it was beyond any of our expectations. I have played golf for the past 15+ years and my son played a bit when he was younger, but he has not picked up a club for at least ten years. They have a max 4:1 student:instructor ratio, which gives the pros plenty of time to give each student the attention they need. My son just wanted to be able to play with friends and clients and not shank it off the tee. In four days, he only had one errant tee shot and, by the end of class, he was hitting 220+ off the tee, and straight! Both of our short games improved dramatically over the four day school. My goals were to get another 10-15 yards off the tee and to improve my short game, both of which I accomplished, and more. The pace is perfect, with four hours of instruction each morning and then a tee time to play every afternoon. The instructors took a sincere interest in each one of us in our group and the entire experience was well beyond both of our expectations. Also, when I went to sign up, I had a lot of questions and spoke with Scott on the phone. He spent a lot of time with me and left nothing unanswered. If you are looking for a fun and productive golf school, this is the one for you. They have discounted tee times on Mondays if you're a part of the racket club community. Luckily my brother in law and I got a tee time with group and an amazing time. They don't have a driving range. They have a hitting net. You can hit your own balls there. They have a nice putting green. The course is surrounded by some houses. I wouldn't say they come in play on most of the holes. A couple of holes for sure if you're a long hitter. Layout is gorgeous. I would rate it a medium difficulty level course for 15 handicap like me. Not too many trouble areas for my swing. Fairways and greens were maintained very well. I got my own clubs from DC. They do have rentals as well. I am definitely looking forward to coming back here next year and hopefully play two rounds here.

I was looking for well-priced, nice-looking shorts; went to the large back area where the PGA brand is displayed. Huge selection for men. Women's PGA clothing was only along the wall in the very back. Pricing for men's shorts? As low as $39.00. For women? None as low as $39. They were priced at $72! I asked the sales guy about where the $39 shorts were for women. His response? "I don't know ... I don't know all the prices in the store." I found 2 associates, a woman and an older man, in conversation and interrupted them to share this experience. The woman was surprised and disappointed; said, "here's the guy who can really help." His response, "Aw no, they don't care about this stuff." Started to make an excuse. My response? "There's a name outside on this building that stands for something and I sure thought it was service and quality in the game of golf.... Which both men and women play." I am so disappointed in PGA Superstore ... but I maybe they have changed their business model... and maybe it IS a store for men.

I've been playing in and off( mostly off) for a year and am inconsistent at best! Wellllll my first lesson I noticed improvement and was left shaking my head, , the second blew me away.... I was doing much better after just one lesson, but even better after the second, and now after my third, I really feel confident I can do this! Explaining why know I can do this! I can't explain why or how... but his determination and confidence in what I can do made me believe I could too. He made changes to my stance and grip and showed me why and how the small adjustments make a big difference . Three very simple tips later and only 15 minutes into my first lesson, Frank had me hitting straighter and more consistently than I ever have. Had lesson #3 today and cannot believe the results. My only regret is not reaching out to him sooner and instead spending the last year and a half on YouTube videos, endless hours at the range on my own and multiple rounds just getting more frustrated. Very poor customer service. I had purchased a golf gift certificate for my husband towards the end…read moreof last May for Father's day. He, unfortunately, had to have unexpected life-threatening surgery and was out of commission for a bit due to this. I reached out to RJ this week since he was the instructor listed on the gift certificate to see when we can schedule golf lessons and then I received a call from Gil asking why I was reaching out to RJ and what he had to do with any of this. He hardly gave me a chance to speak and then he said that the gift certificate is expired and that RJ and Gil have retired. He didn't even give me a chance to explain what had happened or suggest whether there was anyone else that could provide the lessons. He then hung up in a hurry stating the certificate is expired and that he only provided service from November - April anyway. Maybe in upcoming November he can do something for us is what he suggested. Very poor, disappointing service. He seemed to have enough time on his hands last May when it came to accepting my $210 for the gift certificate. If he was kind, empathetic, and allowed me a moment to speak, I would understand his point. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I hope the rest of the golf community is not as cut-throat as this group.
