This is a very nice property, rivaling a private club. Owned by Marriott, they have deals if you stay on property. We did not, but played both courses with no issue. The allegiance is a tough links layout--3 miles out band back. Played tough, with the rough consuming balls at every turn. The pther 9, Pines, played easy in January, but will be much tougher once the tough comes back to life (still lots of water). Great courses, great clubhouse.

Can't say enough nice things about the staff! They were a pleasure to work with as I arranged my first ever corporate golf outing for about 120 people. Shiloh and his team were MVP during the day of the event as they helped my group fund their carts, set up theirs bags and answered a million questions regarding the course. I unfortunately did not get a chance to go out to the course but all of my golfers comeback saying how well kept and beautiful it was.

I went there for a gala dinner and it was a very nice evening. The service is impeccable. The grounds are beautiful and the food was nice. If I played golf, this would be a nice course to play. It's nestled near the mountain and the scenery is picturesque.

The Camelback Golf Club has two 18 hole tracks - the Indian Bend which is a links style track and the Padre course. There was a mix up BC I booked the Indian Bend course and when I arrived they informed me this course was closed and we would play the Padre course which was cart path only! This was disappointing BC my partner had a foot injury and could only play 9 holes. She ended up going to the clubhouse after 9 holes and I golfed on by myself between and foursome and threesome. The manager behind the counter was a good sport and she gave a large discount on some apparel purchased. Since I booked this on line at a discount the manager advised us of what i needed to do to get a credit on one round which I did and was credited one green fee. The course here is older so it's not as challenging or as long as newer courses but is kept in good shape. The greens are flat and not as pristine as the higher end courses but then again the rates are much less! One pro here were the carts which are equipped with GPS. This really takes the guess work out of calculating your yardage to to pin. The end result was good and I was happy with Camelback management resolution to the mishap. I'll return some day to play the Indian bend links style course.

The best part of this golf course are the mature trees that line the course. It's obvious this course has been around for awhile and it has the charm that comes with one that isn't brand new. This course is less "deserty" than most and I liked that. One thing that surprised me was the amount of wildlife we saw! On one hole, two bobcats had decided to "peacefully" lounge under the trees in the shade, right by my tee box. The bobcats didn't seem aggravated but I decided not to take the chance and moved on down the course without teeing off that hole. The amenities are only ok and they didn't have much of a restaurant but the cart girls were on top of it and friendly! Overall I enjoyed my time here and would come back. It's not as nice as other courses but it's still enjoyable and the price is right! I also learned that they are about to open a new course which looks really nice so I can't wait to give it a try!

Camelback Ambiente, father flying kite while golfers have to wait. Terrible course!

What is like to play Camelback??? First, its a dog park, so you have to dodge all the dog owners playing fetch. Second, its great for soccer and flying kites. The best part, the staff doesnt car or do anything about it!!!! Seriously, who flies a kite on a golf course???

In fact, one of the first signs that you'll come across is a quote by Tiger Woods. "Some of my happiest memories are of spending time with my Pops on the golf course having putting contests." Awww! I came with my fam and for the adults it's $30 a person and for kids it's $20 for all day putting. It includes your golf club rental and a ball. You can also have the option of opting out of the cost if you just want to watch and in my case, I was just going help my kiddo and observe. We wanted to have lunch first and the food is actually pretty good! I actually got the burger in a wrap which made it feel healthier yet still savory & delicious! There is also a shaded playground, foosball and ping pong tables. There are 2 mini golf courses to choose from, black (easier and flatter) and red (harder and hillier with obstacles). It's designed like a classic putting course without the cutest obstacles. So for younger kids, they may not find it as engaging unless they are really into putting. You can also order drinks and food while on the course and it'll be delivered right to you. Overall, it was a fun experience!

Once we finished the cart return guys rushed us, grabbing my partners rental clubs before I could confirm that none of my personal clubs had inadvertently been placed in the rental bag. They seemed annoyed when I asked them to give me a few moments to check. Just bad customer service all around.
