Both of my daughters joined the studio 6+ years ago and been loving every single class. Since joining the competition team last year both girls have grown their dance skills tremendously. After watching Dance Moms, I was worried about what our experience is going to be like being part of the Company. Fortunately I found out that the atmosphere at XDF is very positive. This was a terrible place to experience dance for the first time. Neither I nor my daughter had ever taken a dance class, so we were exploring. When it became apparent after the first week of classes that this studio was not a good fit for us, we withdrew from classes immediately. I was charged for the next month anyway on the grounds that I "needed to give notice by the 15th of the month," but classes hadn't even started until the 12th of August. There was no grace period, no trial, and a hard line taken when I attempted to request a refund. Buyer beware if you are just trying to figure out this dance thing for the first time! Dancing doesn't run in our family but our son, who was five years old, showed an interest in hip hop music. I thought dance would be a great way for him to learn some moves and work on his coordination, all while listening to his favorite tunes. He had a blast! We started in 2019 and stayed with X-treme through the shut down in 2020. Rachelle did everything in her power to keep the kids' hip-hop class going, week after week. Rachelle persevered in teaching coordinated dance moves virtually to a bunch of 5 and 6 year olds, culminating in a socially-distanced and safe 5-minute recital. She had the event recorded and made sure we all got a copy of the recital, even though no parents could attend it due to COVID. She and her family are whole-heartedly invested in the studio and ensuring people have a positive experience. read more

My daughter has been dancing here for almost 4years now and we couldn't be happier!! I stumbled across this studio by mistake and feel very lucky:) This was her first year of doing company and she has made some great friends and really enjoyed dancing this year. I was reading some of the reviews and decided I needed to write one. People are so quick to take to internet with negative comments and I think sometimes we forget how important the good comments are. We have had a lot of people leave company this year as one of the reviews has said. I'm not sure of all the reasons. I do know that time after time this year I have watched these kids rally together and hold their heads high and pick up right where they left off. They have remained positive and have continued to work very hard. I'm thankful that these kids are surrounded by such wonderful teachers that have set the example. They have taught these kids to not give up on themselves or each other. These are important lessons that I'm thankful my daughter is seeing from somewhere other than home ;) I actually think that having these families walk out on our kids after they have worked so hard on all these dances through out the year has made them stronger!! It really is our kids that have taken the hits, not us. They are finding out what they are truly capable of, and man are they doing great!! Some of these dances have never looked better!! And as to the comments about Rachelle's kids always being front and center and having more opportunities than our kids. They are both incredible dancers and yes they do have advantages over my daughter... They have been raised by a dancer to be dancers. If all of our kids were being raised by dancers we wouldn't need these great teachers to help our kiddos;) I wish so much some of these reviewers knew how hard to is to be a business owner and a mom. These comments hurt, and at the end of the day we all want what's best for our kids, we all have the same goals for our kids. read more

A few years ago, my son started taking tap lessons at X-treme Dance Force for his spring high school musical. He had no previous dance instruction at all. The instructors were so welcoming, kind and passionate about dance. After a few sessions at the studio, he was hooked. They unleashed a passion for dance in my son. At every turn, the instructors have been supportive, caring, nurturing as well as strict. The studio became our second family and a safe place for my son to grow. My son is now headed to college for a degree in dance. This dance studio is a well rounded school which teaches many styles of dance from ballet to street hip hop. I was ecstatic to come across this studio and find that this studio had so many boys on the comp team. My son has struggled with many other studios in the area with no focus on the boys or the studio not having any boys which almost deterred my son to continue his passion in dance. The studio is probably the nicest, cleanest and well organized studio we have ever participated in. You can tell that this studio is about the art of dance, the owner and her staff truly do a great job inspiring the kids and challenging them to succeed. I saw in a earlier post from Littleton M that they complained about the expenses and the fact that the studio owners daughter is front and center, let me tell you that her daughter should be front and center cause she out dances girls much older than her and the kids look to her for the next dance step which is understandable being the dance teachers daughter. It's costs more money to compete in any sport and comparing this to gymnastics, cheerleading or High school poms this is a deal. We've been in several studios over the years from single room low budget Walmart center to high end 11 room dance mom/housewives of Highlands Ranch establishments and this studio is a well balanced school. read more

So pleased with this studio! I have two daughters that have been dancing here for two years, one of them is in company. The instructors are knowledgable, professional, and great mentors. When my daughters step foot through the door, they always have a smile on their faces. Very unprofessional and "catty" I canceled my childs class she is 4 yrs. old and wasn't interested. It seemed as though they were mad to have lost a student. The company called 5 times for a payment that was already paid and when they were proved to be mistaken got very rude and tried to throw more fees on my account and even hung up on me. The dance studio is nice and clean and the instructors are friendly. My only concern was with the owner Rochelle who teaches some of the classes and can be a bit demanding of the kids in her class. My daughter asked to drop out of her class because she said she was "mean". Also, Rochelle's daughter is in company at the studio and is treated like the Queen Bee. She is front and center of every dance and is always given star treatment over the other girls. Since her mom owns the studio she is not always very nice to the other girls that she sees as beneath her. read more

This is a great dance studio if you want to just take classes, they offer a good variety of different types of dance classes as well as some tumbling etc. Definitely not a true ballet studio like Belliston, however Xtreme has a better variety of classes for those who are looking for more than just ballet and jazz. If you are interested in not only taking classes but also performing with their company team then please make sure you educate yourself on all of the associated fees that are part of being on the team. All in you are looking at $500-$600 a month per dancer. In addition please take the time to look at what type of competitions/dance shows they are performing in...if you are looking for high end shows this is not the studio for you (think Dance Moms). Cheesy dance shows and competitions abound. Also, please be aware that the owner has two children who dance. Her daughter is in fifth grade, so if you have a daughter who is within three years of this age you should know that you will be watching her dance front and center in every dance. Her son is around age 5 so time will tell if he claims the spotlight as well. Do your homework before joining this dance studio...lots of other good options! read more
