The truth is I don't know who needs a professional to install a baby gate and in case you need it, it is evident that the company Red Hot Chili painters is not dedicated to that, it clearly says that they paint, well, people are sometimes like that, otherwise I highly recommend these guys, they are reliable and fantastic professionals.

As a result we just used them again on an investment property. Not only were they competitive but Christian provided great alternatives and suggestions to solving a tricky stair situation. I was able to bounce paint color choices off him and get a thoughtful response. Their team is polite and neat. After the fact they are eager to come by and ensure any touch ups are done.

We hired Kris to do some small projects around our house and replace our roof. The job inside our…read morehome was mediocre, two of the projects need repair less than 6 months after the work. But the worst part is he did some work on our roof, and never completed the job. All his guys did was put shingles on top of the old ones. That was difficult enough- cancelled dates of work, poor communication, project was promised in days, then weeks, then months. I told him we weren't happy with the job in places and he said he would make it right. He then said they'd be back in September to finish the job. I still have broken gutters, a bucket on my roof, and uneven shingles in places. I reached out to him at least a dozen times to schedule the remaining work. Tried his cell, Facebook, email, etc and did not hear anything until December when he finally replied said he hadn't been focused on work and he'd "try" to get someone for me. That's not an excuse for not even responding to someone who has paid you and you have not completed the contract. Here we are, almost March. Not a word. I've been waiting for months to post this because I really wanted to give him an opportunity to make it right. But I've lost all confidence at this point. Buyer beware! Edited to reflect response to business owner: Your response does not show the full picture and does not reflect many of the actual issues we faced. We have no issues with our cabinets nor the issues with the door mentioned. If we had been able to reach you, I could have communicated the issues and given you a chance to rectify. The unforeseen issues with my home were typical of purchasing a new home; and had nothing to do with the projects your team did. Again, biggest issue has been professionalism and communication. Why would I have hired someone else to do the job, when you had promised to do so? I did not want to mention your health in my review to protect your privacy, but since you brought it up, I found out you were ill 3 months after you promised to complete the job after many unanswered attempts to reach you, many very friendly at first. I only mentioned to leave reviews once several months had passed at which time you finally responded (December) but haven't heard from you since. I've included screenshots of my attempts, which are not accurate to the way you tried to portray your response. I won't post all the messages but there were so many attempts over months and months asking what was going on, waiting to hear back from you. You stated I wasn't happy with your attempts to fix the issues. You haven't even had a chance to fix the issues because you never responded to my attempts to contact you. I stand by my review.

My daughter, who lives in California, owns the condo that I live in here in Philly. The first smart thing my daughter was impressed with was the fact that he, unlike other male contractors of any kind, listened to what she wanted done. When he came to do the estimate, he also asked me and listened to my thoughts. This has always been a problem with contractors before--dealing with two women on opposite coasts. Sam easily merged the two visions into one. Once the work began Eduardo, Jean, Igor and Marlon were amazing. Everything, including the living room rug was covered with heavy, protective paper. Then the bathroom where the work was to be done had a plastic, zippered door cover placed to keep dust from drilling in the bathroom. Inside everything, including the washer/dryer were covered. But the piece de resistance is that at the end of every single day everything was wiped down and swept up, including the heavy paper covering the floor and everything in the bathroom had no dust when they left! They also removed all the trash daily. I have never seen a construction site so clean, and I have built a large house from the ground up with my husband plus built with Habitat for Humanity for 3 years. It was very close to looking as if nothing was going on here. At night I could use the bathroom to brush my teeth, etc. and walk through my tiny condo easily. The crew was here 4 days total instead of the 5 estimated and when they walked out the door, you could not tell they had ever been here, except for the beautiful and excellent work they did in my bath.
