It never felt random or forced, and people were dancing the entire night. One thing we especially appreciated was that we are very much not "Top 40 people," and Kyle totally understood that. He helped start the evening with music we actually listen to and enjoy (classic rock, bluegrass vibes, etc.) before transitioning naturally into more dance-heavy music later in the night. He also absolutely nailed the transition from the first dances into opening up the dance floor. We requested "The Payback" by James Brown -- our 3.5-year-old's favorite song -- and it immediately got people laughing, dancing, and set the tone for the rest of the night.
