BUYER BEWARE! This is actually a ZERO star review! My relationship with Xfinity began great and went completely down hill very quickly! I was a customer for almost 3 yrs. Always paid my bills without fail through automatic payments, tried not to complain and always take the high road, but it got to a breaking point. Enough is enough. First off, they will hook you with a great introductory offer for 1 yr. After that first year, they will increase your charges. Fine. Expected. No problem. The problem comes when they continue to increase your bill every year like clockwork. It doesn't fail. They increase your charges annually until you are overpaying for subpar service. At first, I overlooked it because I'm busy and just needed to make sure I had internet as we work remotely firm home sometimes and homeschool our children. However, when the charges continue, you eventually realize you can't overlook it any longer. It's ridiculous. There are always connectivity issues, outages, problems in the area, the list goes on. Second, if they send a tech, they will tell you they won't charge for the visit unless they need to do something that needs to be charged. The tech came out and said the issue was with one of their cables that was old and needed replacing. He confirmed that I would not be charged for the visit since it was something on their end that they needed to replace. Guess what? I got charged $100 for that visit. Don't bother asking for a credit or refund. They won't. Thirdly, Xfinity has the absolute worst customer service. This location in particular included. If you call their customer service number, it is almost impossible to get through a human. If you finally, miraculously do, they are located in some other country and can hardly speak English or Spanish. The connection is always faulty so it makes communication even worse. At first, I overlooked the increasing charges mainly because I didn't want to deal with their customer service. If you visit this location, expect to wait FOREVER! They are an absolute mess! If you give your number to the host to be texted when it's your turn, you will only have to wait some more! Xfinity will always give you a run around for everything! They are not genuine. Fourthly, I closed my account with them, returned my equipment and notified them that they are no longer authorized to charge my card any longer. When I sign in to my account to make sure that I am no longer signed up for automatic payments and to delay my saved payment information, I am BLOCKED from my own billing options on my own account! I tried using their online text agent customer support thing and guess what? After I was connected to a live agent and explained what I needed, they never responded, leaving me sitting there without answers or any form of communication. I'm done with this company and want nothing to do with Xfinity EVER AGAIN! Worst experience I can think of! I was paying for a service that I then got from AT&T for half the price! I switched to AT&T and it was such a breeze! Omg! Quick, efficient, simple. No problems with my connection anymore, anywhere in my home. I had Orlando from Comcast come to my house. He did a great job restoring my cable. He tried several different things in fixing my tv. Since it was the image on the screen that wasn't working. Orlando tried using different cable boxes to see if it was the tv or the cable box that was defective.. then when that didn't work he tried to change the cable on the back of the tv and using one input instead of two.. well Orlando restored the tv and I was able to get an image from my television set.. great employee from Comcast.. he really tried to use different techniques in making my cable work and took his job very seriously. read more

Later we were joined by the manager Mustapha who was as very helpful at looking at our current plans including our house plan and saved us some money on both plans. Very nice experience. I arrived and a gentleman took my name and phone number and told me to wait in my car until it was my turn, which I appreciated considering the pandemic. He called me within 5 mins and told me to go inside. While inside, a new rep was able to cancel my Xfinity service as I requested and take back my equipment. All of it super quick, and surprisingly, while being nice! This review is solely for my experience at this store. My experience with Xfinity as a company is more of a 2/5, but that's another story. read more

I have been with comcast since 1996! They do need workers in regards to outside cableing and knowlegeable also to speak both languages not just Spanish. On 12/06/21 two workers came to my townhouse saying they needed to place a new cable inside the cable box outside my home.I explained to these workers not to drill hole through the structure as I have an Association they did it anyway not to mentioned the stick on the ground Two supervisors came to my home following date saying thats the way it is and the Association has to understand ,wrong answer fhe Association would fine you if the job is not corrected. I called so many times with poor customer service one of the agent wanted to charge $100.00 for a tech to come over after I mention the problem is outside I need the cable remove to avoid being fine by the association. Agent just left the line, After many complaints I finally spoke to agent name Rene , she explained the process and understood my concern and the reason.She is a keeper. The process will take up to a month to be corrected at least I would have a defense if the associatiion try to fine me. Xfinity (aka = Comcast) is absolute GARAGE. Been disputing a Pay-Per-View charge that no one in our house ordered. I FIRST attempted to call Customer Service Hotline and was on the phone with them for 1hr & 15 mins to only get a disrespectful "Manager" (which more then likely wasn't a Manager) to tell me the charge wasn't coming off because "SOMEONE" in my house purchased the Pay per View. I finally said "Ok if someone did tell me which box ordered the Pay Per view?" Which had her shocked that I'd even ask her the question; but wouldn't tell me which one it was at first. She finally gave me a box number; which SURPRISINGLY was for a box I returned to the store MONTHS PRIOR and had the receipt to prove. So I told the Manager this (In not such a nice way) that this isn't my box, but never told her that I returned it because I wanted to see what she'd tell me. Long story short; come to find out when I returned the box they apparently assigned it to someone else but never did the transfer on the system. I had to fight with them back & forth. I ended up having go to the store and show them the receipt when I returned it. To FINALLY them credit me the charge. I even told and talked to the store manager that I should be compensated for this trouble. Cause the Phone Customer Service Manager was COMPLETELY disrespectful and even accusing me of lying. And I had to waste a day to go to the store. The store manager only offered me a $25 credit on my next bill. I just laughed and walked away. NEVER going back to Xfinity. They TOTALLY feel they have a Monopoly of Cable and Internet service so they treat there customers like shit. read more

This is probably one of my least favorite places to come to, no offense. Service is usually okay, they are relatively nice people, but SO SLOW. Every time I've ever come here there's a minimum wait of 45 minutes. They seem to take EXTRA long to assist you if you want to cancel your service. They don't inform you of your wait time unless you ask. Don't get me wrong, there are times that you can get lucky and have a smooth visit but again, lucky. Now, imagine the polar opposite and you'll have a good idea how it feels like stepping into this service center. 2 months ago, we dropped U verse and took our condominium's free cable offered by Comcast. Sounds wonderful right? Well, in the 2 months we had Comcast we had to have 3 different tech calls, entire days where one box wouldn't work (it got swapped out), the DVR wouldn't record, and if it did, it would not sync with the website's "convenient DVR anywhere". Also, by the time charges and fees for multiple TVs were done, our free TV was $30 a month. The Internet is great though, fast and reliable. That being said, the actual store experience is brutal. At any given time, the wait is between 30 - 40 minutes. When I first got service, it took them 1.5 hours to set up my service due to being "confused by the codes" (??) and i was given a non functional DVR which I had to bring back to exchange, while waiting another 30 minutes. The only saving grace to this entire store is an employee named Robert. He tried his best to help expedite the situation for me anytime I went into the store and was always cheerful and kind. He earned the one star for this store. If you must stop at this location, bring a book and a snack. read more

Someone will give you a ticket with your name and you will find out your options after you hear people complain. The Company had very poor customer service after the price quoted was wrong plus the tech that arrived had wrong order. The school program box is a good Price but if you have service with a different provider like ATT you would not be able to use the house wiring. Price is misleading and don't go according to your needs all they are doing is selling the appointment. Good luck you will need it.!!! read more

I am a healthcare worker and working through this pandemic and have 2 elderly parents at home who are having cabin fever as it is and they disconnected my cable because of a missed payment. They would not allow me to get an extension even though I have never asked for an extension before. They would not allow me to speak with a supervisor either telling me it wouldn't make a difference. They basically told me either pay or stay without cable. Their only solution was that they would not disconnect the internet but it might be slower than usual. Everyone hates Comcast. I think a lot of times people assign their telephone customer service issues to this location but I don't think it does the employees of the store any justice. I showed up to my appointment I booked about 10 minutes late but they put me in line and I only waited about 10 minutes. The clerk helped me set up my new internet service and walked me through their various promotional deals and also set up my automatic payments with my debit card and let me pick up the self install kit. Overall this is a seamless effort to go get set up for a new account and the workers are very helpful and courteous. read more

I just got your services in my home (TV, internet, home phone and cell) and I had many questions about your new X1 remote. When I was on the phone with one of your tech support/customer service folks, they suggested that I go directly to one of your retail stores. They assured me that I would be able to sit with one of your employees and they would go over all of my questions -- mostly about how to navigate with the remote. I took that suggestion and made an appointment in your Delray store. However, when it was my turn to see an Xfinity contact; their story was quite different. First of all, his overall attitude towards me was downright hostile. It was clear to me that this guy did not want to be there and definitely did not want to help me. When I recounted what I hoped he would help me with, this is the answer I got..."no, we don't do that here - you have to call tech support." I told him what tech support told me and he absolutely refused to help me in any way. It was embarrassing....a joke. I have a 30-day guarantee on this service and I will tell you that if I cannot get the help I need from you guys in order to be able to use the various components, then I will cancel and go elsewhere. As a huge, global communication company, your customer service needs a lot of work. It is so obvious that you guys do not care about the consumer. Do not get Ixfinity mobile, I switched from Verizon for its value but quickly learn why sometimes cheap can be more expensive. If your phone gets damaged they will only ship it out and you won't have a phone for 4 days even though they have it in stock. I don't know how, or why, it takes so long to just pick up a cable box. It should be a simple, quick, transaction. And actually, it is, but plan on waiting an hour to 90 minutes at the very least before you can even get to that point. This alone is worth no more than one star. It means that to do any business here, you will necessarily have to ruin your lunch hour, or ruin a perfectly good Saturday afternoon. No getting around it. Also, when you go inside, you enter into a huge mass of people, not knowing what exactly you need to do to get your name on the wait list. There's no one directing. It's a disorderly blob.
