Easiest return ever. The most difficult part of this return was walking in and not knowing what line to make. Luckily for me, there was a man at the front desk who was able to square things away for me. I was able to return my modem to Comcast no problem. I wish I had gotten the man's name. He was quite nice and friendly. He made me feel at ease. Oh well. At any rate, something I expected to take an hour (as I did this same thing ages ago in South Florida) took top five minutes here. My mobile plans have been screwed up and I have not received credits for a trade in phone and am being overcharged for the promotions that I signed up for. Doesn't matter about what you think you signed with them unless you are willing to sue so do yourself a favor and not do any sort of business with these people. It has always been popular to hate the cable company in the same way that it used to be popular to hate the phone company. Neither had to be responsive since alternatives were nonexistent. What a difference competition and alternatives make. We have made two visits to this service center in the past year or so and both times we got excellent service, saved ourselves money and improved our service. The location is spacious and the customer service reps are friendly and helpful. This beats the heck out of the old location where you usually stood in long lines in a cramped space. read more

I started my review of this Xfinity store 9 days ago. I never found out why Tyler Cheeks would not give me three phones, even though he charged me for three phones and I needed 3 phones. I wasted hours and days trying to get all three lines set up, because the phone I left the store with on my phone number needed to go to my son who was leaving the state. His phone was due before he left but it was being held up in the mail. I wanted the phone I was calling from to be transfered to son's line, it took four hours of calls, from 10am to after 2pm on February 10. On February 11, I spent hours on the chat lines and on calls trying to find out why the third phone had to travel to 3 states before it was mailed to me...and when it would get here since it had been promised to arrive by today, but it looked like it was in Kentucky....and btw what happened to the phone Tyler had in his hand on February 9 and WHY WOULD HE NOT GIVE 3 PHONES TO ME WHEN HE HAD THREE PHONES IN HIS HAND!?! Three days later, I spent another day trying to figure out how to return the phone that arrived after it went on vacation. I was promised an email with a return mail slip for FedEx. I never got the email so I had the other son, since he is on the account and we use his email, call for instructions on how to return the phone again. Maybe it went to his email instead the first time? But no, he had no email and he received no upc so he asked for one again on February 16. Today we called Xfinity again since I still have the new phone and I do not want it. So where is my return advice? On the 16th it had taken hours to get my phone line transfered to my old phone and the email promised. Today they would not send the email that they had promised me 7 days ago until they shut off my old phone and activated my new phone to verify its existence before reinstating service on my old phone, huh? This time we received the email and the upc and tracking number, so tomorrow I get rid of one of the three lines with a two year contract. 1st son just told me he no longer has service on his phone. my son who lives out of state. Epic! So I called and asked to have his line turned back on, after 38 minutes, most of them on hold, my call was terminated. read more

I am a brand new customer, never used xfinity before. Mr Marc was able to get help me within the first 15 minutes of me being there. Mr Marc went above and beyond to assist my household with obtaining Wi-Fi. my address was a new construction and MR.Marc was able to get an installer out to my house the very next day and i had Wi-Fi before the end of the day. 10/10 best experience!! Very un happy with my experience this far. My wife went into the store and staff was very rude to her. The automated phone system they have is trash and is very aggravating, it's nearly impossible to get someone on the phone. And the text service was very disappointing too, the person helping her was being very passive aggressive. We are working on getting our home set up with wifi. But if we can't get the right help, we will take our out business elsewhere. So far not good, we'll see if they make it right... read more

Previously had a very bad experience with Comcast over a year ago. They closed the dungeon like office in the west side Industrial Park, and opened up in bright new digs on Magnolia Drive. Friends told me about the new local office, all new personnel, and with all new attitudes. So, despite reservations based on previous experiences that sucked, my wife and went there. WOW, ZOWIE, WIZ BANG!!!! What a change. Signed up for internet and Xfinity phone service, and we each bought an Iphone X. Completely satisfied with their new employees. Go to the Xfinity store in person. DO NOT TALK TO THIRD WORLD PEOPLE OVER THE PHONE. THEY caused my previous problems. I hear they're bring Billing Support back Stateside, but I'll still go to this new office in person, and recommend you do the same. read more

Mention the name Comcast and most people roll their eyes or show some other form of disgust. They are known for poor customer service. I used to have to go across town to their crowded location on Hartsfield road, but now they have this new Xfinity location on Magnolia. This is much more convenient and definitely more organized than the seemingly endless maze of a line at the Hartsfield location. You walk in and talk to someone immediately who assesses your situation. They may be able to help you right there, but if not, they direct you to have a seat until the next customer service representative is available. I've been here three times and have never waited more than five minutes. Very impressive! The representatives try their best to be friendly, but I can tell they hate their jobs. I have been told straight up lies by xfinity customer service representatives on the phone so now I go here to get a name and a face to get the truth. I try to have as little contact with this company as possible so I ditched cable tv and just stream now. I am very happy to have this location available to handle any of my Internet needs. read more

Comcast/XFINITY is the absolute worst company to deal with! I have cancelled my service and will NEVER do business with them again. I signed up in January at this location, told them my house was for sale so I only needed a temporary account, nothing long term. They assured me they set me up for this and there would be no termination fee. Then, when I cancelled 7 months later they again confirmed there would be no termination fee. Now they are charging me a termination fee of $60 for cancelling early! Spent an hour on the phone trying to get them to do what they had promised! They will NOT remove the charge! Would give 0 stars if I could. I've had issues with xfinity before, but since they're prominent in my area, I chose to get service again. Well long story short, I went out of town and didn't pay attention to my bill. At the time, I had a lot going on financially, so I couldn't pay until I got back (I informed them of this) and they hard disconnected my service anyway. So I chat with them and ask for help, was promised $100 credit for the inconvenience and for their money hungry behavior for convincing me to increase my bill by $40 in the first place. The chat rep never gave me the credit, and also never changed my plan to lower my bill like I asked. So I call and get the run around by like 3 agents. Still to this day, I haven't received a call back from a supervisor that they supposedly submitted a ticket for. So I went to the store to cancel my account because I'm just done at this point. The assistant manager (idk his name but he's kinda tall, light skinned, good looking, can't miss him) has the worst customer service ever. I explained everything to him and he had to accountability and no sympathy for my situation, basically refused to give me the credit and also refused to refund my last $170 that I agreed to pay with the chat agent to meet in the middle and get my service back on. Also his superiors were standing there with him and they said nothing the entire time. So I got my account closed and I decided to never get xfinity again. And as I'm leaving, I turn around to talk to the associates outside that asked me if they helped me, and I see the assistant manager WAVING GOODBYE TO ME. So he chose to be rude and not help me. And on top of that chose to be petty and passive aggressive, all while the other managers are right there next to him. If this is the unprofessionalism that xfinity stands by, no common consumer like me should help keep them in business. read more

A nice shiny new location centrally located in Tallahassee alongside food and retail businesses in the same strip mall. As soon as you enter there are 2 check-in podiums where the staff determines what level of customer service you need. In my case I had a defective cable modem box which they immediately took, scanned the bar code and gave me a printout ticket-receipt. There are couches to sit while waiting but I decided to wander around and look at the showroom configuration. I was very impressed with the overall layout, friendliness of the staff and speed of service I received. Even though there were 6 or 7 customers ahead of me I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Once I returned home, the new cable modem box came right up and was 100% functional. read more

What most people don't understand is that this is a service center (new connect, re start, exchange equipment, explain your billing ex...) They are limited to your billing and repair questions. Those are mostly done online or via the phone. I personally use the xfinity app to schedule an agent to give me a call when I have issues that way I'm not on hold all day. Billing Problems- Unless the person who you set your service up with is in this local office don't come in yelling like it's their fault. Yes they work for the company but they weren't the ones to mess it up! If you would come in with a positive attitude they are more likely to work with you if it's something they can do! I've been with Comcast since 2009 and it's something's I don't waste my time doing locally. One of those credits the local office cannot do credits they handle money so the company doesn't allow it. If you need a credit again go on the app and request for a billing agent or call the xfinity. Repair issues- We all live by internet and tv. The people in the office can't see what is going on at your house. They can suggest for a technician to come out to fix your services but they can't guarantee a same day appointment. Just like you had issues today someone had issues yesterday so the yesterday person has preferences before yours. Yes I know it sucks to be down for a day or two and yes I know you are paying for services and you want them and yes I know the fsu game starts at 3:00 and you have a house full of people but it's 12:00 (Saturday) most people don't work in Saturdays so I'm sure they are limited with technicians on Saturdays 2nd it could be a simple box exchange try it who knows it could help. Disconnect of service- Call xfinity schedule your disconnection then request for return boxes they will send it to you for FREE! Take them to any UPS Store and they will give you a receipt for returning them! If you are worried about that service go inside but don't be all pissy because you have to wait to do what seems like a simple task but it isn't. (Reminder xfinity bills one month in advance even though you are disconnecting pay your last statement and let them send you a refund trust me it's easier and less confusing this way) Paying your bill- GO ONLINE!!!!! It kills me people still want to drive all they way out here just to make a stupid payment pay it online or through the automated system!!! We are in 2017 people get with the program! Sorry for the long review but I'm tired of people bashing a company saying it's a monopoly blah blah blah when it's actually us with the problem! We want everything done NOW. If you don't like Comcast because of its policy's just leave!!! You have other options! I'm so happy to see how much this company has grown from when I first started! This is a college town so during the fall and graduation time you know it's going to be lines it's only so many people and so many computers come on don't wait until the last minute to do things. Worst customer service ever!! I was sent to a closed location to return my daughter's equipment from her college apartment. Then I had to drive an additional 25 minutes back the opposite direction to another location. When you enter there ain't signage to know where to stand. I waited about 10 minutes to return equipment only to be told to then wait for the account to be closed. There are about 20 people waiting for help and only 3 employees working. I was told I can make an appt and come back. I live 4 hours away so that isn't feasible. Most appalling service ever to close an account. Usually when visiting I have a nice experience with good customer service, but this time was much different. Upon entering we gave our name and were seated to wait for assistance, wait wasn't long but an attendant named Walter called a name that wasn't ours, so we paid no heed. He called again and looked directly at us. After moments of awkward eye contact he called us over. We came to switch to a more expensive Unlimited data plan, and when telling him this he treated us as if we were stupid because "we could have just used the app" he then spent 15 minutes of our time looking on the phone to get the app which could have been spent switching us over. He continued to talk down to us and being extremely rude, condescending, and unhelpful. Did not expect this sort of treatment of customers trying to pay more. He then showed us his phone and his family plan to convince us NOT to get the plan we knew we needed. The other staff as we know is not as unhelpful, but this is a bad experience we will remember. I received the most awful customer service every today from Laucia an associate there and even worst customer service from the supervisor Will. Laucia was not happy being at work today and kept deep breathing and sucking her teeth when I asked her a question about my account and she kept looking over at her co-worker Danielle who was helping her customer. I was told to wait 30 minutes to speak with the supervisor Will, which I did. He proceeded to come out from the back after 45 minutes to tell a young lady that he would interview her soon and when another associate explained to him that I had been waiting to see him, he looked the other way and stated that he wasn't going to talk to me that he didn't have time. WTF!!! The poorest excuse for a supervisor he needs to be FIRED!!! I see why his associates are so rude and don't want to work. ATTITUDE REFLECTS LEADERSHIP!!!! And it showed today.
