First thing first I've been an xfinity customer for 10 years. And there were only two times that I've received horrible customer service, and both times were at the xfinity store. The store employee are untrained, rude, understaffed and unprofessional. Do not come to the store because you likely can do everything online. This store is run by allied universal. Allied universal is a renta guard security service. The security guard is also the door greeter. Just remember, you are a filthy peasant. Comcast people will not acknowledge your existence for at least 90 minutes after you come through the door, they are too busy. Come on in, you will be greeted by an angry security guard, forced to sign in and wait in a long line. The Comcast employees will not even acknowledge your existence until you go through the allied universal bouncer. Xfinity Store by Comcast - Television Service Providers Near Me - Tracy, California

(MUST READ) It is unfortunate that Comcast is the only option in Tracy past 25Mbps otherwise I would leave Comcast and never look back. That being said read the below you will have more insight on why. If you have to go in and you can't get your help online or over the internet then avoid JOANNA at all cost as she is shady. Don't be fooled by her friendly attitude it is fake you are just an upsell to her trust me. If any of them (especially Joanna) ask you signs for anything make sure to ask them to give you paper copies (or digitally let you see) of what you're signing up for as the little digital pad won't show she did to your account. To give you my specific example had a Cable/Internet combo that after their promotion period my bill went up substantially. I simply went in with my Cable/DVR box to return the that I was paying for and asked to cancel my cable service as it was coming out to $200+ a month. Mind you I had a 250 Mbps blast service with my cable Package. She went ahead and offered home security while canceling my TV service. I get home and notice that my Netflix is buffering that has never been an issue at home in over 3 years. Run a speed test and find my speed hovering at 65 Mbps. Joanna decided to sign me up for a new internet contract with a substantial speed down grad of 60MB/s without mentioning it to me or showing that I was signing for!!! If a customer asks you to keep the same internet but just cancel it is safe to assume they don't want to downgrade the internet speed they had for over 3 years! Moral of the story these people just want to sign up for stuff and that is the only time they are nice and helpful. Otherwise, your just burden and they will do anything to get you out even if it comes at a serious downgrade as a customer to you as seen in my case. Good luck as I mentioned earlier we have to deal with the joke Xfinity/Comcast till wireless technology supersedes the bureaucracy of hardwired internet service providers. But mark my words when that happens Xfinity will go down as we will no longer be stuck. read more

PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can not turn off all of the channels you did not purchase. After 40 min and 4 different departments there is a way to only see only the channels you purchased to save you time but only with a lot of work. How to accomplish: 1. Go to guide 2. Arrow to left on channel number 3. press info 4. set favorites 5. return to channel 6. press the channel down button to see if you have the Chanel and repeat process for each and every of the 500 channels. read more

Writing this review while I'm sitting here just waiting for them (4 in total) to finish their competition of who could do the least amount of work possible while moving at a pace comparable to just standing still. They're friendly sounding but slow af. They do greet people when they get in the door and check them in but it took 45 minutes for them to help the 2 people out ahead of me in line and it still isn't even my turn yet. #1 - I am on a fixed income, so my question for Comcast is, "why doesn't Comcast have a Senior Citizen price rate for folks who are on fixed incomes?" Last year I customized my venue for our Comcast service, which included TV & Internet. Which brought my payments down to a very reasonable price for a Senior Citizen, I was told by the Comcast Service Rep. that this price would remain in tack for two years. Today I received my statement from Comcast indicating that I have has to $20.00 price increase, which brought me back to the price I had initially!?!? This is a major bummer.... #2 - This next issue is very major to me being a consumer of Comcast, and a resident of the Bay Area. I have even wrote to our US House Rep. McNerney about this issue. Most of us who reside in the City of Tracy, or nearby Mtn. House commute, work & do commerce in the SF/Oakland/SJ Bay Area...And "not" in the Sacramento Region of California. San Francisco is 60 miles away, whereas Sacramento is 76 miles away...So why in the heck do I want to see Sacramento Television Stations, when I know NOTHING about Sacramento, or the areas that they are talking about in that City???? I as a consumer want to know what the weather, & traffic is like going to SF, Oakland, or SJ! It is really foolish what Comcast is doing regarding the Tracy Corridor in regards to the SF Bay Area. Was suppose to have my cable, telephone and internet hooked up by August 26th. Still nothing. We have had approximately 6 service calls to the house, one construction crew to re-wire the cable because "the wiring is outdated". That was Saturday September 8. There was suppose to be a piggy back opt so that they could hook cable up as soon as they were done with the re-wiring. Didn't happen. We have called the 800 # twice and after approximately 1 hour and 48 min I was disconnected. Next day my roommate did the same thing, called the 800 # and after approximately 2 hours was disconnected. Both of us went back down to the cable office in Tracy yesterday and they didn't even apologize. Said the earliest opt was going to be Friday the 13th. Really!!! Customer service was he worst. As this pandemic continues it's becoming more overwhelming to go anywhere. But when we are coming in as new customers and trying to transfer 4 lines from AT&T and get new cable service they are taking their rules to another level. They refused for my husband and son to come in to the store because of the limit of capacity. Yet there was other families coming in with 3 people at a time. Then I'm having to yell my phone number and address from across the room. Do yourself a favor and activate any new services at home. Or go to Stockton location as their customer service is beyond better then this location. I left store and called and they stated that there were no issues and wanted to place an order and ship me phones that would take 5 to 7 days to get to my house........ I had an issue with a cell phone purchased at their store and assumed they might be able to fix it! The screen was locked and couldn't move! They informed me a claim could be filed and the phone sent out for repair! This would leave me without a phone for who knew how long! (Phone purchased in May of 2021). I decided to buy a new phone since I needed a working phone. I found one and they proceed to process the order and the claimed they had issues with their system and it wouldn't take my order. They also suggested I go next door to the repair phone store next door to see if they could help with my situation. This man told me the screen was locked and it would be about $150.00 to repair it! That was a new phone so I left there frustrated! We then went to Manteca to Verizon and the lady there took my phone after I explained to her the issue I was having with the locked screen and talking! She asked my security code and showed me on the volume switch to double. Beware!! click and that turned off the locked screen! She stated the phone repair store and Comcast/ Xfinity should have known that but yet they wanted to charge a fortune and NO repair was needed! Went in to get help with a few problems we've been having with the services that we signed up for. I spent 2 and a half hours ( I kid you not) trying to fix the situation on the phone and got nowhere!! So I went in and the customer service woman Joanne did nothing to help except for call the 800 number for me and sit me down to wait on hold again. She is unwilling to help and likes to use the automated services to fix all of the customer issues that they come in with. While on hold I witnessed another frustrated client come in trying to fix her password and Joanne just takes her parts and try's the pay the woman's bill for her through the kiosk! I had purchased the 3 pack WiFi boost from the store in Stockton as well as getting a new modem. After setting up the new modem I realized I didn't need the boosters. I tried to return to the Tracy store with receipt and still in the box. Your rep told me I couldn't return because I bought at another store and had to return it there. The receipt clearly says "return to any Xfinity store". This is horrible service, I explained I will be out of town the next 2 weekends and will not be able to return within 30 days. Great experience today with the manager on duty. I returned my cable box to get upgraded box but I accidentally gave them my remote control for my bed. I went in today to retrieve my remote. 2 other associates looked for it in the back and was not successful but the manager didn't give up and eventually found my remote from a mountain of remotes.
