We chose several appetizers (charcuterie board, veggie tray, fresh green salad) and a brownie/dessert tray that blew our minds. Excellent!!! Delivery was on time and extremely friendly. The team she hired to set up the venue was clearly inexperienced and even made comments to my family members saying, "I'm not sure what to do I've never done this before." Time was severely mismanaged and the coordinator/owner was visibly overwhelmed. Marilee does not care whether or not you are happy with her services. After the wedding, I tried contacting Marilee privately to express my dissatisfaction and try and find a compromise on the amount she billed us for (which she was unwilling to give any details or itemization of her invoice) and she ended up ignoring my emails. She took no accountability, was disrespectful and made rude comments about my wedding, and showed no willingness to compromise...she never apologized and immediately was defensive and threatened legal action. After trying to contact her 3 times and being ignored, she filed with small claims. The judgement ended up being dismissed. After having such a horrible experience and doing more research, I found out the business was dissolved in 2014 and is no longer legally operating under its LLC.

Every magazine that…read moreyou look through for your wedding tells you to pick three things that you want to spend the most money on and I picked the dress, pictures, and THE CAKE!! Well I was not happy with the result of the cake!!! I went in to Sandy multiple times to plan my wedding cake. I took a picture and we went over flavors, designs (piping and gum paste), and decorations for around the cake. I had visited the shop the week of my wedding to make sure everything was perfect and to drop off ribbon and candles for the cake. The day of my wedding I received a phone call from Sandy, but I had missed it since I was getting my hair done for my big day. To this day I don't know why she called me, but when I saw my cake at my reception site I couldn't have been more disappointed. To start, the piping was exactly what I told her NOT to do. I did not like puffy piping around the edges so she had sat us down and showed us different piping that she could do and my fiance and I picked out two piping techniques that we wanted. That is NOT what we got. Then the candles that I had given her to place around the cake were no where to be found. To this day I still don't know where they are even after asking Sandy she places the blame on the reception site. Once getting over the piping we sit down to eat the cake and I had specifically stated that one side cake was to be chocolate flavor for me since my fiance didn't like chocolate. Well what do you know I received a different flavor so I sent it back to the kitchen and the wedding coordinator for our site came out and said that Sandy said I changed my mind and didn't want chocolate so there is no chocolate cake. That was NOT what I wanted!!! Sandy and I had agreed on one side cake of chocolate. So I look ridiculous sending back my piece of cake at her expense. Sandy was also supposed to send along a container for the top layer for us to take home, but that didn't happen either. So I took it in a cardboard box 2 hours home!! When my family confronted Sandy about all the errors first she wouldn't return our phone calls and then she denied everything. It was always someone elses fault. All I got in return was a gift certificate for another 6"cake and a few extra dollars on my deposit, which took a letter from my family stating if she did not compensate us for the deposit and errors we would take it to court. I would not recommend her for any cake unless you want the opposite of what you ordered!!!! A very UPSET Bride!!
