Red Carpet Challenge Success!!! 2022 was a year of learning how to live my best life with a training regiment that works with you. I signed up here in early February and it has been excellent. The workouts are perfect, on time, and recorded. If you miss a workout or cannot make it, they will send you a link and you can do them at home or at your own time. Exhilarating!! I've been coming here for over 3 months and I can't imagine my life without this place. It's been 7 months since my last review. I thought that not much would have changed since then, but I was wrong. A lot has changed! At Xplosive Fit and within myself. The changes at Xplosive Fit continue to be positive. Coach Rod has brought a team of coaches who are amazing and inspirational. I workout in the morning 8:30 or 9:15 class and Justin is one of the new coaches. Well, not so new anymore. Anyhow, not only is he funny and brings so much to each class, but his energy is contagious. Every coach makes sure that your body posture is correct so that you get the most out of each workout AND so that you don't get injured. I like how everyone gets along. Working out isn't fun for me but somehow going to Xplosive is addicting, you see results, they help out with ur nutrition, and it's just like a big happy family. Which brings me to my second point: Changes with myself. I love food. But Xplosive has shown me a different way to eat in order for me to get where I'm at today. And WHERE AM I?? Well I am at a loss of 30 lbs of fat. I feel a lot more energetic. I have endurance when I run...something I just never saw happening in my future. I was size 13, and today I'm size 9/10. I like myself today. I have changed the nutrition at my home and Xplosive motivated me to make these changes. So the benefits extend now to my family. I'm a lot happier, healthier and skinnier. My only complaint is when I'm 2-3 minutes late they make my child wait 10 minutes before calling him in when it's a 30 min class. I will continue to go here due to my son liking it and it's been helping his behavior. I have to rush from across town and can't always make it right on time. And I don't think it is fair to my son or right that I'm paying weekly for my son to miss 10+ minutes. Not only did I waste gas to come. I pay for classes and I want the full class. Ok if I'm a few minutes late. I'm not ok with my son missing 10 minutes of a 30 minute class when I'm paying a weekly fee. I haven't shopped around on prices yet but if this continues I will, my son likes it here tho. read more

I have been a XplosiveFit member since 2016, the reason I stick to the program is because you have the best set of trainers in town !! The team knows your needs and helps you stay accountable to the program. I recently began a gym challenge on 8/22/21 because guess what l am a working mom and somehow found my fitness focus shift a bit with the world opening up again. Being a mom on the go with kids activities can be challenging to make healthy food choices, finding the time to workout is even more challenging. Coach Rod reached out and made this plan really easy. He explained the food list specifics, got me on some helpful supplements to maximize my results and just like that he helped turn the switch back on!! I am 3 weeks post challenge and have already seen a difference in my overall appearance while feeling content with the amount of food that I am eating. First of all, making myself GO TO the gym is about 90% of the battle, once I'm there, doing the work is the other 10%. The key is finding the best coaches and activities to make you WANT to be there. No matter the time of day, morning or evening, Seamus and Rod are happy, welcoming, and legit care about your progress. Their humor and encouraging communication really makes a difference, you can tell they are passionate about what they do. I was never athletic growing up, never enjoyed running (still don't), didn't go to the gym for fun. My whole family is the same way. So the fact I've been going since March, from 3 days a week to now 5 days... really proves they're doing it right. It's never boring, never the same thing. My daughter has been taking mma classes here since August. She has never been so dedicated to an enrichment activity and much of that has to do with the energy and community-building effort of Rod and his team. The classes are demanding but fun and the coaches push the kids to give their best effort every time. They encourage them to be "black belts at home and school" as well as in the gym. Rod encourages open communication and genuinely wants parents and the students to check in if they are struggling with anything. This is really the best possible gym community if you are between 30-75 and don't look like a fashion model. We are all real people in this fitness challenge together. Well, sad to say that it's been 2 years that I was at Xplosivefit and have now left to a new gym. The people there are the greatest, love the Fit Family. But management & workouts have deteriorated over time. 30 minute hard core workouts now are slower, less weight training and added stretching. Guessing this is due to so many injuries. They say they are there for you, and act like they care, but not even a goodbye when they heard I was leaving. Which is sad because I was a supporter and told everyone how great they were up until the end. $ - Membership is high, and they will try to add on extra workouts ($) for those that aren't getting good enough training. I have heard so many members being charged incorrectly, and those that have left still being charged. I have a lot more, but trying to keep it short of a novel. I'm sad that I have to write this review. I joined this gym about 7 weeks ago, feeling like I'm too out of shape , too tired , even too old to start this kinda exercise program... but still kept going and I'm glad. :) The classes are intense but well worth it. Ended on a sour note for me, sadly. I had to leave because of a new job and had to pay for two months without going because they require 60 days notice to quit! It's extremely expensive for the little amount of time spent there. I was very sad about leaving, because I did lose weight and enjoyed the camaraderie. Before starting Xplosive Fit , I rarely worked out and probably had tried every diet on the planet . I felt stuck and almost felt like giving up. However almost two years ago after seeing and hearing about my neighborhood gym on Facebook I decided to try it out and send Coach Rod a message. Hands down my favorite place to workout! I enjoy everything about these classes and programs. I am a super busy single mom of 2 boys and work a full time job and my favorite part of the day is when I pull into the parking lot and come to class.
