I started their six week program ready for a challenge and prepared to struggle with nutrition and consistency but I've been pleasantly surprised with how easy coach rod makes everything! I work an odd schedule as an ER nurse and they make it easy to do the workouts at home if you can't make it in. He makes nutrition simple and gives you the room to make adjustments to meet your needs. I struggled with the convenience of healthy eating and meal prepping but it's surprisingly convenient and I stay full for hours which is great for my schedule. Sooo much to say! I knew I wanted to change my body composition and see what my body could do. I hadn't worked out in about 6 months before joining XplosiveFit. Rod is amazing, the phone call we had was awesome, he listened asked questions and just makes you feel heard. Xplosive fit changed my life. Yes, you read that right. The whole team is incredible but Coach Rod has become a staple in my fitness and wellness journey. His programs and workouts are not only amazing and successful, but doable. So many fitness programs are not realistic but Rod is a real person that works with real people - this was huge for me. He's willing to do things right alongside his clients, and will never ask you to do something he himself as a leader isn't willing to. I've been with Coach and XFit 6 years now but more recently I've been working with him remotely, as I no longer live close by. I am trained on Zoom workouts and follow a nutritional regimen made specifically for me. What I love about it is that it's dynamic and changes as you do. These guys are crooks. My wife used their service for a while and it was fine. When she reached out to them to cancel because she had not used it for months, they didn't get back to us, despite several attempts. BUT they kept charging us every week anyway! After 2 weeks I had to tell my bank to no longer accept payments from them. And then they had the audacity to go after my wife for an additional 2 payments anyway! Very scummy. Needed a new approach and got results! I'm not really a novice - I had some experience with strength training, but I really wanted to lose weight while keeping whatever muscle I had, and didn't want to just do jumping jacks and stuff. I was ready to do what Rod suggested, and it worked - I lost over ten pounds of bodyfat in a month. Why did it work? Rod listened to my concerns about nutrition and made sure I was satisfied with specific information about macronutrients, after looking at a couple weeks of data via InBody. This maximized my weight loss without making me go hungry. I stuck to the plan of 45 minute sessions three times a week (dumbbell/barbell lifts, bodyweight work, boxing), and walking daily steps as recommended. This worked because Rod has a lot of knowledge and is great at communicating it and providing friendly accountability. I needed that type of guidance and detailed analysis of what was going on with my body, and I got it. Definitely going to continue my cut with this program. read more

so glad i came here.. after much doubt, hesitation, and procrastination, my husband and i teamed up and decided to come see coach Rod in July 2023... we were promised tough workouts and a meal plan that does not feel like a diet... we got so much more!! this was a place with real people who just come to shape up and be part of a like minded community.. and the meal plan is far from a "Diet" - i am full all day and eating most of what i enjoy as i already ate healthy foods just in wrong combinations.. now i love tracking my meals , packing meals for the week, and coming to the gym to see awesome people.. Coach Rod truly created an amazing community and with their support (fist bumps, high fives, modifications, check ins, feedback, keeping us accountable) hubby and i are now combined 60 lbs lighter and lost a total of 15% body fat (i lost 26lbs/6% body fat, and hubby lost 34lbs/ 9% body fat).. and if you told me i would do easy full burpees i'd tell you No way.. but here i am telling you how accomplished i feel doing those burpees with jumps! we are in our mid 40-s but we honestly can say that we are in best shape of our lives. so it's all possible as we each have a will and motivation ..only which of us choose to use that will and motivation to move ourselves , even if it's just one small step ahead.. and here at XFit our motivation is all we need to bring because the meal plan is easy and workout options and times are plenty so you are set up to succeed if you just follow the plan. Wow, I really have begun such an amazing journey and got lucky enough to do it with such energetic and encouraging coaches! It all seemed so out of grasp, but as soon as you feel that support and are given the tools you need to succeed, things fall into place. Of course we couldn't continue the training in person which I completely understand the given circumstances. I had sent several messages simply asking how many sessions I have left. No response. I started working out with Coach Rod just before Halloween and the only thing I regret is I didn't start sooner! I needed real structure to get past the rut I was in with my fitness goals. I had been working out for over a year at another gym. While the workouts were fun, I wasn't really making progress. I would lose a pound or two but gain it back. The previous gym closed recently and my wife and I found XplosiveFIt. After speaking to Rod and learning about the program, we decided to move forward. The first thing you learn is that you don't need to workout for hours on end 7 days a week because your diet accounts for over 50% of your progress. While I knew this previously, I just didn't have the discipline when it comes to food (my weakness). With the XplosiveFit program, there is an accountability factor that deters you to give in to cravings and or cheat. It's not a "never eat snacks ever again" type of program. Rod meets with each person individually to come up with a plan that is right for you and gives you weekly updates. As you progress, what you eat changes and you are able to slowly have more flexibility as long as you maintain the healthy eating habits. The workouts are awesome as well. I find myself feeling sore pretty much after every workout vs before I did not. I used to be a morning person but overtime (and with kids), it was harder to get up to workout in the mornings so I would go in the afternoons. But going to the 5am class at XplosiveFit gives me so much energy for the day and makes me feel like I have the entire day to accomplish what I need to do (of course there are other times as well for flexibility). There are also group challenges and activities that they will do (i.e. train for Spartan, mudrun, etc) that add to the fun. So far I have been going for about 3 1/2 weeks and I have lost about 11 lbs and 2.5% bodyfat reduction (so the weight loss was not all water). I would highly recommend giving XplosiveFit a try if you are ready to change habits and get fit. read more

I can't begin to say enough about XplosiveFit. Coach Rod, Justin, and Seamus are amazing humans! I've tried many boot camps, semi private training camps, and challenges throughout the valley.
