Do not go to this gym. After two months of patiently asking and following up, they won't credit me back the full amount they over billed me on after my cancellation period. Also when you make them honor the deal you signed up for, which is not the package they wanted you to ultimately do, the trainers stop communicating with you, not even acknowledging your achievements from your first round. read more

I joined this gym because it was only 5 minutes from the house, like what they say is the path to least resistance. I joined a 6-week challenge which is perfect for summer prep. Lost 7.5% body fat. Only 30-minute workouts. Increased steps to about 10K is part of the program, including meal guidance. It was very doable and impactful and fit many busy schedules. I started the 6-week challenge at XplosiveFit a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was a challenge, but I've come to see it as a better way to eat and exercise. I've never done weight training or boxing because of my wrist issues. UPDATE 7/6/2020: Still rising and grinding at 80% of my maximum effort to hit 350-400 calories a workout in 30 minutes! XplosiveFit has had our BACKS to make sure we do the opposite of gaining the quarantine 15. With two back-to-back accountability challenges during this challenging time, I can safely say this gym has saved my body and mind from some serious stress-related damage. I've lost 5lbs in the last three months--for a total of 15lbs and 5% body fat since joining in late August 2019. Starting before my twins were even a year old, my hormones have been on a roller coaster and my progress has been slow, but thanks to XFit, they and my metabolism are now balanced and now it's down to my compliance with the nutrition plan. I have never experienced anything like XplosiveFit! It's such a wonderfully diverse community with such and empowering energy. The FB group is very active, and I love the camaraderie and positivity. I leave feeling great, and look forward to seeing familiar faces each session. It's inspiring to workout with so many people who have transformed their fitness and lives, and I can't wait until my twin boys are old enough to join the martial arts program. XplosiveFit - 8/26/2019 to 5/4/20 (8 months+) = toning and changing! - Gyms Near Me - West Hills, California

I joined XF in April 2016. It was a crazy time for me. I had young kids, and my father was dying from cancer. Those workouts were like therapy for me--with every kick, punch, or lift, I felt better. But my food stunk, I was in my 40s, I was exhausted from stress, and I just didn't feel like making the effort. And it showed. On the left is a photo of me in May 2018. I was at my highest weight ever, despite working out 4-5 times a week. In January 2019, I decided to do something about it. I've had many stumbles along the way, and I have a long way to go, but I've FINALLY learned that it's a journey, not a destination. The photo on the left was taken last week. I'm a total of 28 pounds down--which, over almost two years, is VERY slow, but also VERY steady. I just got numbers back from my physical, and everything is terrific--insulin, cholesterol, etc. I'm eating like an adult. My clothes did NOT, in fact, shrink in my closet--they fit better than ever. :-) Most importantly, I've learned that I am the ONLY ONE who can take care of me, and I'm worth it. Just a reminder that small victories add up over time. And I miss working out in person like CRAZY...but we will get there! So grateful for the online option. Xplosive Fit continues to be great! I was working out five days a week and loving it, but realized I had to eat right as well. I joined XplosiveFit about 4 1/2 months ago. Now I'm not the type of person that can self motivate and go to a traditional gym everyday which is why this place is so great. The type of workout I get here in 30 minutes cannot be beat. It's fast, it's fun, it's Xplosive! The Coaches are super friendly and helpful too. The music is great. There are modifications for almost every exercise in case you have any health issues. There's boxing 3 days a week and several class times offered throughout the day as well as remote participation. If you are at all interested, there's usually a free try out class to see if it's a good fit. I can't recommend this place enough.! They also have an incredible MMA program from kids and teens.
