Man what a pleasant buying experience these guys provide. I purchased a gun online from them. They boxed it, labeled it and shipped it out the same day. I was really surprised by how fast they move. I really appreciate the guys over there as the FFL I chose was not providing good honest service. After finding a new FFL to send it to they got right back on it and took great care of me. They care about guns and they care about their customers. 10/10 recommend not to mention they had the best price online for the handgun I was looking for. I'm leaving this review because everyone in this shop made me feel extremely welcome and almost like family ..... no I did not buy a gun either time I came to the store yet they always treated me like a return customer that's bought tens of thousands of dollars worth of guns... this is the treatment all establishment should treat their customer/ future customer with... I wasn't ready to buy the gun but I'm very close to breaking the ice because of how they showed respect to me, sale or no sale ..... This might not be important to most but for an African American I typically don't get treated with welcome arms in most gun communities. Whether it's thinking I can't afford premium firearms or lack of knowledge or just cultural differences.... I typically feel like the red head step child every employee is watching but not Engaging in meaningful conversation with customers .... Not this place I was welcomed from the second I stepped foot in this establishment... and by the end I believe every employee had showed me their favorite rifle in the store and tips on what I should try out from their favorites to their lease favorites !!!!! I typically don't let people know my knowledge on firearms (even though I far past average on the subject ) because you might learn something new in every conversation!!!! I placed an order 9 weeks ago. The lead time was 8 to 12 weeks. I would call twice a week to get an update on my order status. Every week was the same answer. "Still waiting for them to come in". Their website is a mess. Says they have items in stock, once they have taken payment from you you'll get an email saying it's not available with a lead time generally being weeks. When I asked to cancel my order and change it to one I seen that had in stock on their gunbroker page I was pretty much told to pound sand and that they couldn't end a listing with 0 bids early. Needless to say I got my refund and promptly bought one from Trojan Arms. They need to step their game up. read more

I had a great experience working with Xtreme Guns and Ammo. I placed an online order for a MPA rifle and got a call the next day by Josh saying they just received a shipment in of MPA rifles (which did not contain my order) but didn't have the barrel style (polished) that I wanted. I could have waited for the next shipment but because of the Pandemic I didn't want to take any chances so I told Josh to ship it. It took only 4 days to reach my FFL here in Arizona and when I saw the rifle I was glad I got the cerakoted black barrel instead of the polish. With the burnt bronze chassis and black cerakoted barrel this rifle looks badass! Thanks Josh for taking the initiative to call me. That's great customer service. AND, great price on the rifle! I initially started writing a one star review until Jason, the general manager, gave me a call and did everything he could to rectify the situation. There was a lot of "miscommunication" that resulted in me receiving the wrong rifle. Jason was prompt and very professional in doing his very best to make things right. He was very understanding and accommodating. This is the kind of customer service that separates good businesses from great businesses. Truly one of the best customer service experiences I've had and it was all due to JASON. If it weren't for him, I would have left a scathing review and took my business elsewhere. I fully recommend Xtreme Guns & Ammo to anyone and everyone. This shop is under good care with Jason managing this staff. I will be making all of my future firearms purchases with XGA. I absolutely LOVE this place! The guys here are all really friendly every time we come. It's very dangerous for me to come here because they have some awesome bad ass guns that always tempt me but they've always been helpful in doing what they can to make that dent in my pocket a little less painful. Like a lot of people I am searching for a great deal on ammo which is hard to find (and expensive) right now. Last weekend I found my ammo (5.7x28mm) listed on the XTREME website with 2000 rounds for about $1200. I jumped on the deal and paid via credit card. Nothing happened on Monday or Tuesday and it was only today that I get a call to tell me they do not have the 2000 rounds to fill my order. False advertising. I'd think twice about dealing with this company. read more

I have literally never dealt with such poor customer service in my life. This is not one of those stories where I tried to return merch and I didn't get my way, so now I am writing this punitive review - oh no. This is like a minimum threshold bordering maybe it's a scam type service. Let me explain. I called and asked if they had a certain rifle in stock, they said they did, so I asked for a picture. They sent me a picture of the correct rifle. I paid and gave them all of the information. To put things in perspective, this is a $3k rifle. 24 hours after the purchase I still hadn't received a receipt or tracking number. So I started calling and emailing. After 3 calls, I got a return phone call and they gave me the tracking number. I asked for the receipt, but I got some super weird answer as to why they couldn't send one. I wrote this off as an acceptable eccentricity of the seller with product that I needed. Then purchased some scope rings which they had in stock. I also did not receive a receipt for this and after 24 hours starting calling about them. In the meantime, I got my rifle and it was not the one in the picture!! The rifle chassis they sent was off of a rifle $500 cheaper!! I have been calling and emailing daily to get information on my scope rings and discuss the options on getting the correct rifle, but after a dozen calls/VM's and 5 -6 emails (13 days) I have not even gotten a response! TLDR; I purchased a $3k rifle, based on a picture they sent and instead they sent a rifle that sells for $2,500. I bought some $250 scope rings and have never received a receipt or the merch despite being charged. They have not returned my phone call after approximately 20 messages. Shop somewhere else. read more

After a really good start and great support throughout the ordering process on a rifle in high demand I was encouraged and excited to place future orders through this FFL. Since Covid19, their focus shifted to in store customers. I have an order that's more than a month old still outstanding and cannot get a status update even after being promised multiple call backs, they NEVER call back. Its infuriating. They wouldn't stand for a business treating them this way, yet have no empathy for a customer experiencing such poor service from them. Mind boggling. They're probably pretty good under normal circumstances, but right now I'd suggest staying far away from this FFL. They not staffed to handle the demand. read more

So last night I purchased a top quality, highly demanded pistol (which I was astounded to find available in first place) bought it right off, almost 3 grand. This morning I tried to check on the status of my purchase which reads "processing" on my account, so I proceeded to talk on line with customer support reps to know the time frame I might be getting this item, he said to my surprise "sold last one on wednesday" your order will be voided. Went back to their site and why the heck is the freakin item still listed there?... I've been in this shop many times since it opened. All of the employees are polite and customer focused. All of the employees are very knowledgeable. The owner is a super person. Not all of his employees are extroverts but the are all polite and knowledgeable. They will help if you want them to. They will answer your questions. Rick is very helpful! Nice people, but if your Active Duty military with an out of state license AND your "Request AND Authorization for PCS" actual signed orders AND your Active Duty Military ID you won't be getting shit from there. Not sure how orders look from other branches but in the Air Force it says just that!!! REQUEST AND AUTHORIZATION FOR PERMANENT CHANGE OF STATION-MILITARY. it's at the top of the orders in all caps as well. But apparently the owner seen lots of orders and they don't look like that. I just wish I'd a known this shit before wasting an hour in that damn store. I sure wish people who have never served or maybe served 30-50 years ago stop trying to tell us Armed Service personnel what damn orders are supposed to look like. Or maybe just go on google and look what they look like up like they do everything else. Definitely don't recommend this spot if your Active Duty w/o a Texas DL. 2 stars cuz the guys at the counter were real nice. Guess this is what happens when you try to support local businesses. I found Xtreme Guns and Ammo when looking for a Masterpiece Arms Precision Bolt Action Rifle. Unbeknownst to me, they are their largest dealer and happen to have the rifle that I was going to wait over three months to have built - rifle shipped the very next day! On top of that, not only were they extremely knowledgeable, they got back to me right away on the 58 million questions I had. This is an extreme rarity these days as most gun shops are completely overwhelmed and being able to talk to someone is a big deal. I read the reviews of poor customer service but that has not been my experience at all. I do know gun shops often times get overwhelmed in these crazy times. I left a message on was contacted by two different sales people about an hour apart. I was asking if they had the newest model of the sig MPX. I'm aware that there are several variants. On both calls they advised me that they had two of them and that I should hurry and get one before they put it up on gun broker. Now that usually slows me down when told to hurry. I did want to make sure that it was Sig's newest model so I asked if it had the side folding stock and the 16" barrel with the side exhausting comp. Both of the salesmen stated about the same that it was the newest model one even went on to say that it was so new " that it was still wet" what the f..k. Now I'm still a bit confused, they want me to send them $1700 but they were either to lazy or stupid to even go look and the gun and answer my questions. WTF read more

Ridiculously expensive, they love to charge you big dollars for their guns, but absolutely nothing for yours when you are looking to trade in or sell, to the point of being insulting. They don't sell anything unique, you can get everything they sell for better pricing elsewhere make sure you look around. Very disappointing! read more

.I ordered a Desert Tech California Compliant 6.5 Creedmoor MDRX and additional 7.62 Nato/ .30 barrel assembly and paid for it on April 21, 2020 that was indicated on their website as "in stock". The salesman said that the lead time to deliver was two weeks as opposed to CS Tactical Gun Store 6 week lead time. After multiple emails and text messages directly to the salesman after seeing the same firearm as listed "in stock" in the beginning of June, I contacted Desert Tech Representative Madison Jenkins and asked Xtreme Guns and Ammo to provide her with the order number that Desert Tech gave to the gun dealer more than twice . Xtreme Guns and Ammo has not provided that order number to Desert Tech, so I can only assume that they never placed the order, so I contacted BATF for an investigation into the gun dealer's practices, believing that they are using my close to $3000 to buy firearms for walk-in customers.It is now June 24, 2020. I work in law enforcement and these guys have no integrity. Buy your firearms from Hinterland Outfitters or Grab A Gun in Texas as they both have 100 per cent integrity on firearm orders and unlike Xtreme Guns and Ammo will really respond to your questions. read more

Chris has always treated me well. I bought an AR from them and a month or two later came back for an aftermarket hand guard & bipod. Chris installed everything at no charge. Admittedly, it wasn't a hard job to do, but it was nice of him to do it. I have had good luck there. I came in looking for an optic for my Glock handgun which they did have but would not demonstrate to me or even open the case. When that became clear I then asked if they had factory Glock magazines to which I recieved the reply "Yea, I guess..". The man I talked to here seemed absolutely disgusted at the prospect of doing business with me for reasons that I cannot understand nor have had explained to me outside of "that place is terrible don't go there".
