Can Am dealer: I was in there 4X over the first 2 years to complain about the VERY HARD shifting..(READ Cant get into reverse from H or vice versa..just STUCK!) Its so bad that I wouldn't buy a NEW CanAm again. They had it for "service" 3X..last time for a WEEK and when they gave it back to me, it was just the same. These machines are (in)Famous for BANGING suspension bushings and I brought them a Forum article (A HARD COPY WITH THE FORUM URL etc on it) where 150 or so owners were talking about how to FIX the banging- there is a way to FIX this...These guys couldn't FIND or FIX that issue either and tried to charge me $ 450 for service( mainly changing the fluids). After their "service" it LEAKED SYN Fluid in my truckbed and garage floor for a week, I took it to a different dealer and they said that whoever just changed the GEARBOX fluid had STRIPPED drain plug threads and it wouldn't seal. It cost me $ 450 to get that fixed and of course it's "not covered by the 36 month extended warranty" I can see the reasoning there..CanAm itself isn't responsible for sh*tty service work. I wouldn't go near this place ever again..there were other issues they caused but wont keep going on here.. ;-( read more
