The office has its own parking lot. The staff is nice as well, very accommodating. The doctors are great.

I sat months listening to him tell everyone the same line. "Eat green veggies, lose weight, drink his tea." While he may work wonders for others, I wasn't impressed by his treatments.

Other doctors I had seen before and since have had no idea. Dr. Tsoi immediately recognized a severe imbalance that Chinese Medicine called yin deficiency that relates to bad blood flow and bad kidney function. He treated me five days a week for a while and had me drink lots of tea and take herbal supplements. The pain came down quickly and I no longer needed crutches and could live pretty normally. We went to 3 days a week, then one day. Sometimes pain relief is immediate, but sometimes it takes time. It took five years to get close to normal health despite continual improvement. For fifteen years, I have only gone once a month or every few months. I have stopped altogether for a few years at times, but my problems start to return. I am fairly sure my underlying condition is incurable, but acupuncture, herbs, and cupping help my body stay balanced despite that. I can even exercise now like a normal person without worrying about injury. Many health problems are probably caused by systemic imbalances that Western medicine can't treat but TCM (and other holistic medicines) can. If you have a chronic problem, give TCM a chance. I have also seen Dr. Chan a number of times over the years, and she is great, too. They have such a deep understanding of TCM. Sure, it makes no sense to Westerners, but it is backed by thousands of years of practice to help the body restore health naturally.

I never feel rushed, she explains everything she's doing - both what and why - and is always available for questions, both during and between treatments. I strongly recommend Jung without reservation.

As a body worker…read moreand health coach I am tasked to not only care for my wellness but also that of my clients so I'm always looking for practitioners to recommend. Jung has been my go-to for me and my clients since 2012 when she first treated me. Most Westerners don't understand acupuncture. They only think of needles. It's so much more. A good acupuncturist addresses the whole body as physical and energetic and helps achieve wellness by creating balance in our energy channels and points. There are medical doctors who have added acupuncture or "dry needling" as an adjunct to their practices for "pain management". Jung's practice is far from that. She's a total body practitioner whom I consult with for anything from a common chest cold to hormonal imbalances to musculoskeletal pains and strains. She's an excellent practitioner and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a solid Eastern medicine practitioner.

I tried for years to get pregnant without success and due to perimenopause, irregular cycles and…read morehigh Follicle Stimulating Hormone levels, I was not a good candidate for IVF. I did a lot of research that pointed toward promising outcomes when acupuncture is done leading up to IVF. I first met Dody when she worked for Greenwich Hospital and liked her so much I followed her to her private practice when she was in Irvington NY. I found her to be incredibly gentle but effective, working her hands like magic to place needles with me barely feeling them. Her sessions were quiet and relaxed and more than once I fell asleep. She did a lot of work to release energy flow and blockages and it really made a difference not only with bloodwork but just helping mentally. During one session in fact I started crying and realized I was missing my beloved mother in law who had passed away two years prior. I realized I feared getting pregnant without anyone to help me with the baby. It felt as though a huge weight had been lifted and, somehow, the meditative state one is in helped me clear my mind. (Knowing there was an issue with being alone I found Mothercare Doulas to help me when I ended up with twins, highly recommend them too). I don't understand Eastern meducine much but the results spoke for themselves as my period became very regular and my hormone levels lowered significantly, enough for me to qualify for IVF and go on to have two successful IVF cycles resulting in three children. I used Dr Barry Witt at Greenwich Fertility, with them as a satellite office for NYU Langone Fertility Center, a top ten IVF center in the country. They had 10K+ cycles when I did mine. Note: NYU gave us excellent quality embryos, unlike a local hospital where we had a failed IvF cycle with low quality embryos - the cost was the same. It takes a village to raise a child but a miracle to create one (or two!) and Dody played a huge part in giving me the three children I have today. Thank you!

(1) She seem annoyed that she had to review my history (i.e., what brought me to the appointment) and asked no questions. I had to tell her where it hurt and why. Follow up questions on her part? No. (2) She seemed rushed throughout the appointment. For example, she gave me thirty seconds to change out of my clothes, then re-entered the room with "you're not changed yet?" Really weird. (3) She used my back as a tray for her needles (as I was lying prone). (4) After she inserted the needles, she sat silently for twenty minutes in the room saying nothing at all. No conversation; no comments; no explanation; nothing, zilch. (5) When I paid her, she took the payment and said nothing. To sum up: Dody may be a vert talented acupuncturist. She has zero interpersonal skills
