I stored my stuff here for several months after having used the Downtown East XYZ Storage facility. Pros: generally clean and secure facility; dependable about monetary stuff; has an old-school freight elevator that makes you feel like you're in a movie Cons: definitely not as clean and shiny as the (newer) downtown XYZ Storage location; front desk staff can be variable (some are super friendly, others less so); no recycling on-site NB: the dimensions of the lockers are variable and only refer to the total volume (e.g. 3' x 4' x 4' locker could actually be 6' x 4' x 2'), so if you want to store something that's close to the maximum dimensions of the locker, check the space first! Overall, I would recommend this facility. read more

Great service and clean facility! It was my first time visiting the storage unit we have on site here and was very pleased with the customer service and facility. The reception at the front was very nice and helpful with where I needed to be. Super friendly service and made me feel so welcomed (as a first timer). The store front is quite large and very clean. Coffee station on the side if you'd like a sip and water available as well which is always a nice touch! The storage unit is your typical storage. Imagine rows and rows of locked units. The only down side is that there is no light in the unit so can have a hard time seeing when you're in there. But the hallway lights are bright enough for you see get some visual of what's inside. Washrooms are also available. I really liked the load docks where I was able to park my car to load things in and out of storage. Large trolleys are also available for use within the facility making it easier for you to move all your belongings. Overall a great experience! read more

I'm a new customer here as of only a few weeks ago and I gotta say, although Self Storage might not be the most sexy category to write a review about, what is SEXY is how much effort the team at this location puts into customer service! Not to say that my old self storage facility was bad, in fact they too were quite amazing. However, geography won out and I would much rather place my storage needs 5 min from my home than 45 minutes. That said, this place also has a number of features that put it over the top in my opinion: - Larger units come equipped with double doors with a latch - Direct access bay with roll up door - A variety of free dollys, trucks and pump trucks to make moving in and out easier - E-junk recycling bin (for charity) - Lights on egg timers to you don't need to rely on sensors or worry about rates going up due to wasted electricity - As opposed to numbering rows of lockers they've named all the rows after local streets (Kipling, Lakeshore, Royal York, etc) very hand because it makes describing how to find your locker way easier - Massive freight elevator to get to bins on second floor - Temperature controlled indoor facility - Access to a full Uhaul service centre in their front lobby which is crucial when you're moving in or out or even if you just need to repack and reorganize the contents of your bin To speak to the last point, I used the Uhaul services to rent a truck when moving into this bin and the service and process was smooth and flawless. The recommended truck was the perfect size when I described what I was moving to the customer service rep and the transition of my contents into the bin was amazing with the previously mentioned raised bay door. I really liked my old storage facility but I think I'm going to like being a All Canadian Self Storage customer even more! read more

A couple of weeks ago I had to rent a truck to move my girl in, I booked the truck two weeks in advanced. Not for nothing I just wanted to be sure nothing was left to chance. On the day of the move I went down to this wonderful place to pick up the truck. I was early b4 they had opened up for the days business, when they did open it was a quick check in and registration and I was on my way. The truck they had set aside for me was a ford, my only complaint about the truck was the overly sensitive brakes, but I had adapted quickly to them. The move happened without a hitch. To refill the truck was cheaper then my car(full sized) which really impressed me. Returned the truck and then the transaction was complete. My experience on this day from start to finish was amazing, during what's considered a stressful time, from the staffs professionalism, the price I paid, and down to the quality of the vehicle i used. this place has my highest recommendation. I look forward to using the service in the future. read more

Recently had my storage unit broken into and had many items stolen. Found out there have been several breakin and policy have been notified but are not able to assist much. Facilitiy does not monitor cameras 24 / 7 as advertize and survillance is mininal. There are very few staff on site. There is easy access for those that do not long and therefore can enter at any time and have access many units. Warning, if you wish to hire this facility I would not recommend it all. Staff have no idea where management is and they are not helpful at all. Very disappointed and distrubing. Could it have been an inside off. read more

TERRIBLE do not rent a UHaul through this location. We had a confirmed reservation. On the move day another uhaul location called us to confirm pick up. Apparently all Canadian storage location did not have a truck and just bumped our reservation to another location without notifying us. This wouldn't have been such a huge deal except the pickup time was now hours later (when you have an elevator booked this does not work). No one at this location helped us at all even though we had a confirmed reservation and called 2 days prior to confirm in person. Awful customer service from them and from UHaul! read more
