Some Clients here have been here for over twelve years. The new clients are the ones who are being used and abused in this program. I was arrested by a client on false charges of assault, then that same client stole expensive tools and important items from the room I could no longer live in due to court order of protection. I was not reimbursed by anyone, client or staff. Needless to say this program is designed for you to be used and abused by the system.

They used that to try to extend my groups after I completed the amount necessary for completion. Everyone, no matter their level of participation, completed when they did all the groups. I needed a completion for my family situation and they wanted to keep me longer. They told me it was because of my attitude, they wrote in a letter something different. Oh, and the also gave false information on how many groups I attended. If you have to go here, go. Don't share anything that lets them know how badly you may need a completion and share the bare minimum. You will complete, everyone does.

I have been under the care of these "mental health professionals" since March or May of last year…read morefor the Batterers Accountability group. I was told I had to attend 26 groups to complete. I was also told I could attend once or twice a week. Over my time there I have had attendance issues which prolonged my stay. They told me about 3 weeks ago I needed four more groups to complete in order to get all the information because I missed groups. Not because I didn't have enough groups. When I had one group left they said I had to stay because they didn't think I [learned] what I needed to know in order to be successful in a healthy relationship. Keep in mind, I seen many people complete during my time there. What they learned was that I need the group for family court and I have to go. They tried to justify me staying from what they concluded from me sharing. And, as a Casac-t with years of facilitating groups and conducting individual counseling sessions, their justification for my prolonged stay isn'tinsightful at all. They are just keeping me because they want to charge my insurance. The zoom groups aren't even ran professionally. One of the group facilitators little daughter be on the screen during group. She be cooking and talking to her daughter while the group attendees try to share and open up. HIPPA ANYONE!! And it happens every group. We have talk about sex, abuse - physical and mental, while this little girl be jumping behind her mother on the screen. And the other facilitators be there, but don't say anything. This is how I know they are just keeping me to charge my insurance: if they are really that professional to say I need to stay because of their assessment, then you would think they would be professional enough to let their colleague know her daughter shouldn't be a part of the group and she shouldn't be cooking during group. No, I don't recommend this place at all. They are clowns as far as running a professional mental health facility. Now, if they try to retaliate and keep me longer or write a letter to the judge saying I "didn't get it" I will have topost the video of a live group so the unprofessilism I talked about can be seen. That retaliation will be prove they do things like retaliate or keep a client just to keep charging the insurance. Update 2/11/2023: They discharged me from group. They are not professional, in my opinion. They can't accept criticism from one of their clients. I just have to modify the video because of other group members identity, but that is it.
