So thankful to find this place. I highly recommend making appointments. They seem to stay busy from what I saw during my time. While I did not get a pedicure the chairs looked awesome and the foot bath bowls were very pretty!!! Very clean In the main areas. Visiting from out of town and walked in around 5:45pm with a friend. They were cleaning up and seemed to be closing early (posted time says 6:30). We both wanted dip and they continued to clean around us but still did a great job. I did not feel rushed at all. I also needed tips on 3 broken fingers, total was $55. I would highly recommend. I walked in for a basic pedicure and a French manicure before an event on a Saturday morning and I have never been to a salon I've felt less taken care of as a customer. If I lived in the area I'd never frequent this salon again. First - Pedicure was run of the mill, and I would have no complaints that I would have felt compelled to voice publicly, except I was encouraged to put back on my shoes and socks while my polish was still wet- I would discover at home that my sock stuck to the polish on my big toe ruining the 40$ service I just paid for. Definitely unhappy with this. French manicure was a joke as to how bad the experience and the finished product was. The nail tech obviously had no interest in doing it- and I wish she had just said no rather than doing the laziest, worst manicure (see pictures). She made no attempt to clean up any rogue white polish from her attempts to do this very simple manicure. After obviously struggling to do the French tips, she shoved me to the front to "dry my nails" with a clear top coat on only some of my fingernails- instead of finishing and had to be chased down by other employees to finish the job. Would absolutely never recommend this salon- it looked like there were other spots, and I wish I would have tried one of them instead. read more

When I lived in Highlands Ranch for 15 years, I immediately found a nail salon that I stuck with until I left the area. Since arriving and settling in Steamboat Springs, 3 years ago, I have tried many salons and somehow, I found something wrong with each one until today. Woohoo!! Upon entering the Y Nails & Spa, I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness. I was asked to use the hand sanitizer and my temperature was taken. Hai, the owner, did my French pedicure and did an excellent job, including cleaning my feet, massaging and putting the polish on. He was meticulous and took his time cleaning my toes and scraping the soles of my feet smooth. I was not planning on having my nails done, but because I liked Hai's work, I decided to go for it. This time, Tiffany, Hai's wife, did the job. Like her husband, she was gentle and expertly cleaned my nails and put on gel nail polish. My nails have been thinning and cracking lately, so she recommended that I try their Healthy Nails next time. I definitely will! The husband and wife team worked very well together. Had a great experience here while I was in Steamboat Springs. This place is located right down town and very convenient to get to if you're using the public transport bus while in town. There is street parking out front, but obviously limited. The salon was clean and cutely decorated! I felt very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. These people never answer the phone and do not return voice mail so it is impossible to secure an appointment. In addition, they do not abide by their own hours. Google lists them as open until 7:30 pm on Saturday, their door says they are open until 6 pm. I called when they were supposed to be open on Saturday morning and left a voice mail asking for a 5 pm appointment. My call was not returned. I walked in at 4:45 with only two people receiving services. There was a gentleman available and the owner argued with me about their closing at 5 pm and would not oblige a simple manicure. This is the second time I've come and they've been closed before the hours listed on their own door. I have liked their atmosphere but have been concerned about their not using sterilized or packaged nail tools and not cleaning in between customers. Rude and an obnoxious waste of my time with zero regard for keeping customers. read more

Not even near what I asked for. First of all the guy didn't even do the color I asked although I had the polish I wanted him to use in my hand. He put the tips on crooked and my nails look like they're popping out of my finger. The picture I showed him had white flowers with yellow in the middle. He said the only options of colors I had were blue, black, & orange for the middle of the flower. He also put orange dots on my nails that I did not want. He used acrylic paint on my nails instead of the polish and the dots he randomly put look messy. My friend got hers done as well by another guy and they look fine but I overall had a bad experience here and do not recommend. I suggest going to another nail salon for a better outcome. read more

I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment within a couple of hours (which sometimes feels impossible to do living in Steamboat). The salon was very clean and plenty spacious. I absolutely loved my pedicure, and the atmosphere was incredibly peaceful I could've taken a nap in the massage chair. I then had a gel manicure which I was very impressed with their color selection. Overall I was very pleased for the service I received and the price of the service. Now owned by Exclusive nails owners. Vey unfortunate, "Tiffany" and her husband were the best in town. The gal I saw this time was great after the guy filed the hell out of my natural nails when I asked to soak the gel off not electric file down to the nail bed. I know my nails, didn't need the attitude for the ask... I was, once again, overcharged as well... Tore 3 gel nails in 3 days and chipped the gel off several others. I'm firmly convinced they water down their products so they won't last as long as they should (I used to go to their Central Park location too) I went back and asked them to fix and tip the brokens. What's worse, they bash you in Vietnamese... Had a speech translator on my phone, and my SIL is Vietnamese, so.......... Not cool! I give 2 stars because they didn't attempt to charge for the fixes. We can do better Steamboat! When you have the limited market in the area cornered, do better! read more

I was disappointed in the quality of the service. While my nails look great, the manicurist was a bit rude and abrupt. She did not put lotion on my hands or give me a hand massage. It was just soak, file and polish. Not what I am used to. When I asked her why, her reply was that it interferes with the polish. Every other salon knows how to do it. Extremely pleased with the acrylic fill-in and polish I received from Hai. I am very particular about how I want my nails treated, and he followed my instructions to the letter. The Nail salon is quite beautiful, with very comfortable pedicure chairs and lovely pedicure bowls. It is extremely clean, and offers a very inviting atmosphere. Waited 3 hours. Mediocre pedicure and AWFUL acrylic manicure. The acrylic is lumpy and uneven and was placed partially on my skin (past the edges of my nail). Additionally, two of the nail techs burned my nail bed with the e-file and I had to ask them to stop. While I was there, the techs asked more than 3 customers with appointments if they could come back tomorrow because they were too busy accepting walk ins. read more

Don't go here if you want acrylic nails. I came in for a fill and it took over two hours. She kept saying that the shape I wanted would "look bad" but she was actually just bad at shaping nails. She was using too much of the liquid so the acrylic was wet and slipped onto my cuticles, which she then used a drill to file away at. Two of my nails were lifting in less than a week. read more
