The staff are pleasant and informative, though they gave me space to explore rather than hovering. Lastly, I met Gandalf the Multicolored Parrot, who said hello enthusiastically and also bye bye. The owner told me she was lonely at home and here she gets to chat with everyone. They have a retail space in downtown Cape May also.
