THIS PLACE DESERVES A NEGATIVE # the 'stylist' turned my hair ORANGE!! THEN REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY! I paid over 100$ not only did this salon turn my hair bright orange but they also used something on my hair that made my hair SEVERELY damaged. The salon lights were turned down so low that I could barely see what the girl had done. I told them I was not happy and that my hair needed to be fixed bc the girl turned my hair ORANGE and she damaged my hair to the point where it CAN'T be fixed! the woman at the salon couldn't be bothered and said that I HAD TO COME BACK WHEN THE OWNER WAS THERE JUST TO SAY THAT I ABSOLUTELY HATED WHAT HAD BEEN DONE BUT I WANTED MY MONEY BACK. the owner told me that they "stand by their work" well if you want orange hair great on you. not for me. Called and was able to be seen the same day!!!! Owner, receptionist, hair stylists were absolutely AMAZING!!!! Very personable & accommodating. I know I have found the perfect & permanent place for my family to always have their hair done. I took my 4 & 10 year old and they were done at the same time. Staff and owner were extremely attentive and helpful. Treated us like family. Very welcoming atmosphere!!!! My little minions were comfortable in the shop and with the staff. Let alone the three of us were beyond happy with the outcome of the cuts and color. My very experienced hair stylist wife went there to get her hair colored because its tough to do her own hair (shes done it many times before, but it's a pain in the butt) and the stylist colored her hair orange! (No, it wasnt supposed to be orange and she didnt notice it until she got home because it was so dim there). We called them for a refund for the hack coloring job and was told no. So basically, if you go here, they dont care about your satisfaction or the quality of their work. I'd stay AWAY! read more

I was a past customer of the salon and in my personal opinion i found the salon to be on the dirty side and the owner loud and unprofessional. I loved my stylist and followed her when she left the salon. I continued to receive emails from the salon. Each time I would follow their instructions to "unsubscribe" but continued to receive the emails for a couple of YEARS. I finally called the salon today to complain and tell them they I am still receiving them and to remove me from the list. I also told them how unprofessional their email was as it didn't have their business name or their contact information. I told them if I continued to receive the emails I would take legal action (which would be via the FTC and the company will be fined). The owner called back and said she couldn't remove me from the list because she needed my full name saying she couldn't remove it without it. Now who has a data base with only names and not the email address connected to it when they are sending out bulk emails???? I told the owner how unprofessional she was and their email was regarding contact info. I told the owner I sent her several emails to unsubscribe me over the years, per instructions in their email. She said she never received them. I was so frustrated with her that at the end of the call I said "screw you" and hung up. The more I thought about i felt the owner owed me an apology for her actions. I forwarded her the five most recent requests to unsubscribe and then called back. I told her I sent her the emails as proof and that I felt she owed me an apology. Her response was that I was removed from the list. I asked about the apology and she VERY sarcastically said "I apologize from the bottom of my heart". Now I'm really pissed because I tried for years to address this and this is how she treats me. I told her I was going to tell everyone I know what a bitch she was and how unprofessional she was. I wasn't going to file a complaint with the FTC but after her "heartfelt" apology I'm going to now. read more

This place is a joke and only caters to a special clientele. Every Monday they have a $10 haircut special, however they close early at 2pm. I wanted to get a hair cut and called to make sure that they were open and made sure they closed at 2pm and not earlier. The person I spoke to said they close at 2, so I arrived long before 2pm and they were closed. So the trip there was made for nothing, in addition to lying to a Cape May County consumer affairs investigator that they were only doing appointments when I was told over the phone that they took walk ins. This wasn't the first time they did this. What good is a $10 haircut special if they close earlier than the time they say? God forbid if somebody has to work and do business on a Monday like the rest of the world. Great Clips down the street doesn't mind working on Mondays all day, why can't 9 Salon? I guess that would be too much to ask for them. Great Clips even has a $7.99 haircut sale. Why go to a useless salon for a cut when the people there are too lazy to be there to even honor their own hair cut special? They could have even at least pretended to be open but they're not even any good at that! They might as well close on Mondays since they are too useless to run a business that day! 9 Salon are very insulting to customers! read more

Visited this place with my 3 years old son and we got the worst haircuts in our lives. Barber cut my son's ears. So I got extremely bad experience and I will never visit this salon again. I asked owner give my money back but she explained me than returning money is not company policy. So, don't recommend for anyone. read more

Went for a shampoo & blow dry and I have to say it was horrible!! I broke my wrist so I couldn't wash my hair and it came out as flat as the wall. She didn't even section off my hair or use a round brush to give it volume. I think my hair looked better greasy. The kicker was when she told me it was $35, at that point I'd rather have my husband wash my hair. read more
