I expected the organic mock tails to be made with fresh pressed juice and fresh fruit. Nope they were super sweet made with like ginger ale and frozen fruit. I got a punch card for the oxygen... but it's not a friendly relaxing place to receive oxygen. I came in at 1:00 pm on a Friday with the music blaring and I asked for it to be turned down and she said we were super slow so just jamming out. Super slow in Sandpoint l, in the summer at 1:00? I drive by here a couple times a week and finally decided to give it a try. I invited a friend to join me and she was very happy I did. We both had amazing meals and the service was really good. We both had a hard time deciding what we wanted as everything on the menu sounded Delicious. I went with the Falafel Tacos and she had the Grilled Veggie Salad with Chicken. She also got a half order of the hummus plate to share and there was plenty. The veggies were both colorful and full of lots of flavor. The Hummus is made in house and was the best I have ever had. Not too much lemon, tahini, or cumin. The salad was a plate full of fresh roasted or grilled veggies and the chicken was moist and tender. My Falafel Tacos were simply amazing. A little heat but the coolness of the avocado was a nice balance. I used some salsa that came on the side with chips to add even a little more zing to the tacos. We also have the Mojito Mocktails which were cool and refreshing and a nice compliment to the meal. These are great, especially when you just want a rushing drink at lunch and no alcohol. Can't wait to go back and figure out if we want Thai Noodle Salad, Black Bean Burger, Bison Burger, Lettuce Wraps, Falafels, or any of their other Delicious food. Sorry the pics are a little blurry. We are so excited to have Yafay Wellness open in Sandpoint!!! The food was delicious, full of flavor, fresh ingredients. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They also have a mock-tail bar! They offer both dine-in and take out options. We can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious foods and wellness items. read more

One of the best places to eat and definitely best {bison} burger in Sandpoint. We love going to Yafay and bring friends to eat here often. We love the chicken Szechwan bowl, the hummus with falafel and of course the burger. read more

Stopped in for lunch looking for a healthy place to eat and oh my, I was pleasantly surprised! I had the lettuce wraps and a nice cup of hot tea. The lettuce wraps were SO good and nourishing, my tea was delicious. The owner checked in to make sure my meal was satisfying and that I was happy. Great place! read more

I was excited over trying this place after reading about it, but I'm incredibly disappointed. First, the massive amount of plastic. For an organic, holistic, healthy place, I think it would make sense to not use disposable cups, straws, cutlery and bags. Second, the food was absolutely horrible. I ordered a lettuce wrap to go and I got 3 leaves of lettuce in a box with a side of a mix of tofu, store-bought poor quality sauce, peanuts and literally fried onions (the ones that come in a Cheetos type package), all of it on a paper napkin. Again, for a "health" place, what?! I don't even eat those fried, pre -packaged snacks and all of the sudden they're mixed in my lettuce wrap? I'm honestly confused. My husband got a falafel. Again, the quality was extremely poor. Lastly, we got a mocktail and an iced tea (or should I say slightly flavored water). The mocktail was good but at $9, ridiculous. Also, it came in a DISPOSABLE plastic cup, those giant ones from Costco. I'm sad about this, since I thought in theory this business was a good idea. But in practice, a $35 mistake I won't be making again. read more
