I had to use the bathroom so when I walked in I asked where it was left saying "thank you, I'll be right back." Went to the restroom and came back to a weird vibe put my stuff back and left. Went to two other stores realized the security showed up as I was leaving. Was shooing and found out they called the cops on me and had me escorted out of five below. "Blackman wearing black mask and tan coat" i had a face mask that was down (can see me face) and a grey active wear hoodie. It's apparently suspicious to ask where the bathroom is go and come back. Or it's because I'm black, they didn't greet me but they greeted the white lady that came in after. Then lied and said she called because I got too close and made her uncomfortable. I didn't get close because she didn't greet me, and I don't know how I was close enough for her to feel uncomfortable but give a description that I'm wearing a tan trench coat. Called the cops on me "Black man wearing mask" because I asked for the bathroom went and came back.

I didn't pay any mind at first, however a few minutes after I walked in, 2 customers walked in and were greeted right away with the standard welcome. I just receive a forced "Hi" since I was in eyesight. I was even more upset going to the register, mind you again with only maybe 5 total customers in the store, however I was just WAITING to be checked out. I even had time to line my 11 items on the counter hopIng to be heard. After waiting a few minutes one of the girls walked over to check me out, but said NOT ONE WORD! No I'm sorry for the wait, or I'll be right there, and not even a "did you find everything ok?" I was met with an attitude and silence from her. I was also met with an attitude when I asked about a coupon. I really wanted to leave all of my stuff and not bother, however figured it was better to get the receipt and call corporate. I hope there is something done at this store to align with the other locations to show care for ALL customers that walk in!
