After being a loyal SoftSoap lover forever, they changed their formula/scent so I needed to end my relationship with them. I went to CVS, Walgreens and Target to get a whiff of some liquid soap, but what I really wanted to do was TRY a couple out and then I remembered that BBW stores have a sink in them! Genius. I was headed to Natick to do a couple of errands, so I stopped in and chatted with Evie (Eve, maybe?) about all things soap. I had signed up for their new-ish rewards program before heading in and received $10 off a $30+ purchase, and I left with 6 bottles of soap that smell nice (unlike the new version of my old one). We had their last time slot of the day and it was a full class. Before the class started we were able to explore the shop a bit and there were so many candles and accessories. It's so cute inside! Our instructor Mossi was amazing and very knowledgeable about the different types of scents and combinations. It was so much fun figuring out which scents I resonated the most with. We also got to smell everyone's scent combinations which was cool knowing that scents smell different to every person. After the class, we got a small discount on any additional items we wanted to purchase that day. I got this really cool dirty martini candle and a wick dipper. Heads up that candle pick up is the next day so the wax can settle. They will hold your candles for two weeks but after that they will burn them in the store. During the workshop, the store ran out of one of the scents my friend wanted to use. We made it work and found a substitute but the during pickup we found a note, a slip for another workshop and a small candle to make up for the inconvenience. That was so nice of them! As for my candle, I don't think I can recreate it anywhere else. It's only been two weeks and I've already burned through most of one of them because it smells so good. The scents actually last and linger in any space you put them in. I 100% recommend this place whether you want to try a workshop, give this experience as a gift or just stop by to smell the candles. Heads up it's BYOB. You don't have to drink but you're able to bring something if you want.

I have been buying candles from here for years. One candle can burn for 3 or 4 full days, 24 hours a day. i bought a clone once, and after 4 hours, it was gone. The candles come in all sizes and fragrances imaginable, so there are endless options to choose from. While the quality of the candles is certainly there, the price is reflective of that. Although they do have occasional sales, I personally find them to be generally high priced, but I'm sure there are other people that find their prices to be okay. That said, I do recommend stopping in for the experience and judging for yourself. There is plenty of parking, handicapped accessable and it has clean public restrooms.
