They have different animal experiences you can book in advance for on their website, but their most popular seems to be the one where you get to sit in a pool with otters! The session and communication beforehand were well organized and helpful. I won't spoil everything, but not only did we get to sit in a pool with otters zooming all over the place at the end, but we got to learn about, see, and touch about 6 other types of animals up close + walk through some of the property to view some other saved animals. For the otter swim, the team will take tons of photos using your phone or camera, so you can just enjoy the moment! They recommend wearing a tank or shirt over your swim suit (there will be time to change into it right before the swim), and J wish I wore a looser shirt, because it gives more space for the otters to wiggle in and explore :D Plenty of parking, clean restrooms on site, bring your own water/snacks if needed. Definitely a little pricey, but it goes to support the reserve and its little critters and was such a fun time! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a special experience for any animal lover :)

It was totally fun and doable for my friends who are not generally crafting people! The studio has great decorations and ambiance, Davina gave us glasses, glow in the dark hair clip, and a hat to take home with us. The final painting is so pretty and glows in the dark. The two staff members were energetic, upbeat, great with the kids, and able to quickly adapt to unexpected circumstances. It was too windy to sail on our sailing day, so George took the kids around the bay in a pontoon boat, and a fantastic time was had by all. On hiking day, an especially high tide had covered the planned hiking course, but George took the campers to Annie's Canyon for a really cool slot canyon hike. George somehow convinced both my kids that they love and excel at kayaking, surfing and rock climbing, and they have been so excited to do all of these things again soon.

We met our sandcastle building professional at OB near Dog Beach. It was a hazy day which made for more waves and great shots of our feat. The young woman who met us from San Diego Sand Castles was so sweet and had impressive building knowledge and skills. She explained the process and what we would be doing step by step. We let my goddaughter choose the type of castle. She of course chose well. San Diego Sand Castles supplied all of the necessary tools and equipment. We brought buckets of water. Dug holes with her shovels. She put boards around an area and taught us how to wet and pack the sand. She showed us how to make the sand look like bricks and windows. She gave us tools to do so and showed us how to scrape areas to form levels and peaks. It was so stinking fun!!! We had so much darn good fun. The cost was totally worth it. I think we were out playing in the sand for three or four hours. Thank you so much, SDSC, for a memorable day!

He had all the equipment strapped to a hand truck with tires appropriate for sand. He was really skilled and was very chilll too. It was easy to ask questions and learn from him. In 2-hr we built a large castle with cool features. I'd recommend San Diego San Castles for a group outing. You'll need several people. This would be great for families, or entertaining out of town guests. There's some work involved so one of two people need to be stronger enough to carry water from the surf.

We had the pleasure of having Kimball from Corporate to Canvas come to our office at lunch time to…read moredo a painting session. She got there early to set up everything and she stayed late to clean up and put everything away. She put down a protective plastic sheet to cover tables, chairs, the floor, etc. She set up all the aprons, easels, paint brushes, water bowls, etc. Kimball gave us 2 paintings to choose from. She put on some music and we all started following her helpful instructions on our way to our masterpieces. She led us step by step to paint the beach scene. I had never painted or done one of these things. Kimball is very professional, nice, helpful, and patient. I definitely needed the most help out of everyone. There were 12 of us, and we only had an hour, and it got a little rushed at the end to paint the sign on the beach, but we got done. See posted pics of my masterpiece. This was a fun experience and I look forward to doing this again. If I can do it, anyone can do it. It was nice to do a relaxing stress relieving event at work.

With our tight work schedules and living 2 hrs away from San Diego, it was like planning a destination wedding. But Gisele's vendor recommendations were on point and everyone worked incredibly well together. As a detail oriented person, I stressed the small details. Gisele did a great job reassuring me and also suggesting great, fun and creative ideas to produce the wedding of our dreams. Everyone delivered more than they promised. When looking for a planner I wanted someone who was responsive, creative, but also maintained our privacy. Gisele went above and beyond anything we expected. She's a great communicator, and immediately responsive to emails / phone calls. She spent hours of her personal time to make sure everything came out exactly how we wanted it, even the night before our wedding. If we said we didn't like something she never took it personal, and helped us find exactly what we wanted. The other nice thing is that if you're on a budget, Gisele would take it upon herself to pass along any professional discount to the bride and groom, which saved us thousands of dollars! Not to mention, she protected our privacy throughout the whole process. I had a lot of surprises in mind that we didn't want to reveal before the wedding. She worked great with the hotel staff and all the guests complemented how professional her team was. On the day of the wedding, we knew we were in great hands. The timeline worked like clockwork, and as the bride and groom, we did not feel a single hiccup! it was timely and perfect. Our guests were all soo pleased with the event, some even saying its the BEST wedding they've ever been to!!! We have Gisele to thank for that!
