if I could give Yardly a negative number on this review I would. This is the worst company that I have ever worked with. I have an elderly parent that needs snow removal so I contracted Yardly for there snow removal service. In the first 2 months of service they never showed up. I called several times to get them to come and finally when it snowed they showed. There head office in Alberta said that they would refund me for the time missed. to this date this never happened. At the beginning of February there was a heavy dump of snow. Yardly showed to do the work but did not do it correctly. They removed the snow but did not clear the end of the driveway wide enough so that my elderly parent could even get there car out. My parent had Doctors appointmentS the next day that were canceled because of this. I called Yardley a total of 20 times over a two day period. I was hung up on by there system again and again. I did get though twice I was told I would get a call back, this call never came. I called again, 10 more times. got some one on the phone. They told me that someone would be dispatched to take care of the driveway. they never showed up. I would say at the very least a full refund from this company is require. I am sure I will never see such a thing .so my advice, from my experience with this company is DO NOT HIRE THEM IN ANYWAY FOR ANYTHING. read more

To be honest last year I left a 5 star rating. The service was fabulous! Something has seriously changed! Last year 3 pros - friendly - great job. Left reviews everywhere - and gave tips! This year, what a joke. I've tried calling but the message says they have issues with their phones. They were a week late to start, then sent a guy unannounced to my home while we were not home. Parked in the middle of the street blocking my driveway and traffic. Was rushing to finish- missed patches of grass - I had to ask him to please do it again. He had no bags and leaf collection was happening at that very moment on our street. I went to get yard bags for him.. and came in the house momentarily- he left! Nothing done! I've messaged repeatedly but nothing done - now snow rests on all our leaves. The best part is today when they sent me a message wanting more money.. if I want the job done. Avoid at all costs. Completely unprofessional. Terrible communication. Scam. I booked snow removal services for a rental property from Yardly for this winter. After approving the quote I received from them in September, they emailed back 2 weeks later saying they needed to increase the cost of their services by $20/month. I accepted since it was late in the year and they assured me that I would have coverage starting in November. I followed up with them twice in October because they hadn't processed my invoice, and both times, after several days delay, they again assured me that I would have coverage starting in November. They said that they were just working through their backlog and would process my payment information soon. On November 10th, I was notified that they won't be servicing my property after all - and they did this through an automated, templated email, and haven't responded to any of my questions. If you have a rental property and you need reliable snow removal service avoid them at all costs. This place cannot be trusted. read more

DO NOT HIRE! Guys showed up and blew all the leaves under the fence and into the neighbours yards. The front yard leaves were blown onto the street. Called customer service to complain...2 weeks later - and they can't even make contact with their local teams to come back to finish the job (I should say - start the job because the first trip only pissed off the neighbourhood) Zero stars. read more

Absolutely the WORST service I have ever hired. The company is a complete sham operation. I live in a centrally located part of Pickering 2 minutes from the highway, and have been snowed in for 3 days with no service in site. A storm on Monday and I am literally the ONLY ONE in my entire neighborhood who is snowed in on THURSDAY!!! Everyone else hired someone other than Yardly and was cleared up by Tuesday. I honestly do not know how I am going to be able to get out of my house at this point, and am trying to find a new service provider even though I had already paid Yardly. No one answers the phone. Emails are responded to days later with scripted promises that have not been kept. I will never hire them again, and would strongly recommend that no one else does. read more

Absolutely terrible. The jokers who showed up to rake leaves used a blower. They didn't pick up a single leaf. They blew them into my neighbours yard and all over the street and left. I called the service desk complain. They sounded very nice.....but nothing happened. No one has returned to attempt to make this right. Zero follow up. read more

I wish I read the comments here they gave e a different story I signed a contract for Jan to April they took January payment and when I go to book an apointnent it says November 2 2022 which passed they are playing .me just take peoples money and do any services and the new excuse when I responded to them why they are not coming g they said they will come and service in 2024 not now 2023 January even the invoice is for January 2023. beware and in general anyone from now anyone who isn't in good faith and provide service. read the comments from now on. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I am in Mississauga and this is the first time that I have signed up with this company for snow removal for the 2021-2022 season. I cannot state this strongly enough - STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are the WORST ever and do not honor the terms of the contract. I have signed up for the "Elite" plan according to which the following is included in the service: - Unlimited snow removal for every snowfall over a 2.5 cm accumulation - Guaranteed service time within 8 hours of snowfall ending - Repeat service visits during continuous snow storms For snowfall amounts exceeding 10 cm they have this clause: In the case of extreme weather conditions and snowfall over 10 cm, the timing guarantee does not apply. Which contradicts the "Repeat service visits during continuous snow storms" This was most evident following the snowfall on Jan 17,2022 and as most have vented properties were not serviced until 72 hours later. Other companies providing snow removal services made multiple visits to clear the snow off their customer's properties, but not YARDLY because of the 10cm clause. To date on 3 occasions 24 Jan 2022, 4 Feb 2022 and most recently 19 Feb 2022 when the snowfall has been over the 2.5 cm, they have not serviced my property. Phone calls go unanswered and emails when responded to are only to provide feeble excuses. They are also supposed clear the windrow and have not done so even once! read more
