When I got around to trying it out, I found it to be dangerous, as it would easily spin. That might have been fun 25 years ago, but at this point in my life, it was dangerous. Less than a week later, I took it back. I will admit, I was unable to find the receipt, but having worked in retail, I expected I would have to take a store credit. The clerk asked if I had used a card, which I had. She had me enter it, and she found the purchase right away. $11.39 was returned to my card, or about 60% of what I paid for the item. That will be my last purchase there. That is the only store I know of in this area with a refund policy like that. I guess the church doesn't have enough money in their coffers, but they won't get any more from me.

They are more than helpful they are professional people that understand what customer service is. You don't get customer service anymore where ever you go. This place rocked it. They have all that we needed and it's quality. I will never go back to hobby lobby again. This small "mom and pop" shop is worth the experience. I am very thankful as a water colorist that I have a place so close to home to go to with open arms to help out in any way possible. The vibe is positive and not pushy. I just called to reorder an order and provided the date and order number. Was told they couldn't look up orders. My gosh! Get a current computer software system. The gal who answered had the voice and knowledge of a 12 year old, so I asked for the manger and she said she was the manger. This store is outdated, has rude employees and most employees are unknowing about anything in the store. Never thought I'd say this, but: "Go to Walmart where at least they know their products".

Then she had me pick out some beads I loved (that was hard, I liked a ton of them) and she actually helped me put together my very first bracelet. Ever since then, I've been addicted to beading. One problem I've noticed on visits back is that she tends to treat all of her customers like they are planning to steal from her. She follows them around and watches them quite carefully. She will also pre-judge your financial status and then tell you how expensive the beads are if she doesn't feel you'll be able to afford them. I actually have watched her treat people like criminals...from teenagers to business women. I guess if she is that paranoid about it, it would be better to install security cameras. Though she has always been rather personable to me, I find her treatment of other customers disturbing.

They also had some very lovely red strands of beads that were 1920's era. I HAD to have those too, even though they weren't quite the bargain that the trade beads were. This is a great little bead shop with some typical stuff, and some unique stuff - a good balance given the size of the shop. It looks like they offer some classes on site. If I'm ever back in Helena, I'll be sure to stop back in. I'm sure I'll find a few more treasures that will have to come home to my stash!

Jenny answered the phone...and even though they were working with a small crew, checked the fabric for me AND told me they had the fabric I was looking for in more than one color. She sent me pictures right away so I could see the fabrics. She measured them, called me back in just a few minutes with a total. I paid for them and 2 days later... they were at my door.
