This place is magic. Staff is friendly and happy to help you find anything. Seems like their seasonal stuff is always on super sale. Incredible selection of iron-on patches, beads, ribbons, hats, balloons, vases, and anything else you could ever need for crafting. Prices were way better than Amazon, and if you look in the back of all the items hanging on the shelf, sometimes you can even find items for a little bit less (older stock). read more

I biggest complaint about Hobby Lobby is their strange refund policy. Recently, I bought a balance board type of thing there. It was almost $19.00. When I got around to trying it out, I found it to be dangerous, as it would easily spin. That might have been fun 25 years ago, but at this point in my life, it was dangerous. Less than a week later, I took it back. I will admit, I was unable to find the receipt, but having worked in retail, I expected I would have to take a store credit. The clerk asked if I had used a card, which I had. She had me enter it, and she found the purchase right away. $11.39 was returned to my card, or about 60% of what I paid for the item. That will be my last purchase there. That is the only store I know of in this area with a refund policy like that. I guess the church doesn't have enough money in their coffers, but they won't get any more from me. read more

If Michaels and Home Goods had a baby, it would be Hobby Lobby. I've heard of Hobby Lobby before but have never been in one until recently. As my brother and his family were looking for frames, this was our first stop in our search for it. Although we didn't find one that met their needs, I did get a good walk around the store (it's huge!) and appreciated the range of goods that you can place/decorate your home as well as potential crafting and gifting needs. It's more than a Hobby Lobby, just like Burlington is more than great coats. What I was really impressed with is how clean and neat everything is. But it's also like Michaels where it seems like you have 4 places to look for one item. So put on your walking shoes or be more efficient by asking one of the knowledgeable staff. Stop by and just take a gander and you'll just want to buy everything in sight. I wish we had one in California as it might help us decorate our place! read more

I can't say that this location is any different from other locations, but it is one of my favorite stores to shop at. The cashiers here aren't always the friendliest, so if you are looking for excellent customer service, you won't find it here. I enjoy the store so much that I can overlook the rudeness of the employees. I actually prefer to not be bothered a hundred times while I am out shopping anyways. read more

I love Hobby Lobby!! It has everything you could possibly need to paint a Masterpiece of your own making, a sculpture of clay, or wood materials, or something you can make your own with embellishments of your choosing. I have been shopping at Hobby lobby for over 10 years prior to moving to Montana. I was beyond thrilled when they built the Helena store. Great staff, I've never been disappointed with service. I do wish more clarification was available on some of the sale signs. I know it's difficult to tag each and every item but some shelves have multiple items and it makes it difficult to discern. I love the variety of supplies and rarely can't find something I am looking for. Thank you! read more

Had the worst experience ever. The lady checking out her name was Tanya was very snarky. The fabric lady however was amazing. Lori is the best. But because of the check out, Tanya ruined the experience. Don't know how she still has a job. read more
