Always arriving when he said he would and leaving everything impeccably tidy, he and Dean did an awesome job restoring my garden to its former glory. He went out of his way to organise quotes for restoring a timber structure over my fernery, sourced high quality plants and did everything he said he would quickly and without fuss. If you want an excellent job done by someone who is knowledgeable, professional and friendly, I doubt you'd find anyone better and I'll certainly be recommending him to friends. A visit to the Bulleen Art and Garden Nursery is always fun…read more Comprising a nursery, gallery and stockyard for landscape design materials, there is always a lot to see and do. The nursery includes large water plant, native, indoor, veggie, herb, and cottage garden collections. Its easy to lose yourself walking along the rows of flowers, but the sections are clearly labeled and if you have any difficulty there's a little hut near the entry way where you can ask for help. Bulleen Art and Gardens is also very child friendly. There is a chook pen in the corner surrounded by fruit trees that is very pleasant, and little workstations with information about recycling and different plants. The staff are very friendly and always forthcoming with great advice and botanical knowledge, although you may have trouble finding someone to help when it's really busy. Make sure you check out the gallery space on your way out. The beautiful mosaics and funky sculptures are well worth seeing.

Plants always seem to be in a bad condition, with root systems that look like they've been in pots for ages. And, when I tried to pay for the plants that I wanted to buy (about $100 worth), me and the three other customers in line waited about five minutes with no explanation from the three staff behind the counter as to why they couldn't help us (I was there around 2pm during the week, so they weren't super busy). So, the general vibe is disappointing. And I guess if they say that their style is an acquired taste, then it's not to mine. So, Yelpers, next time I think about buying stuff from this place, remind me not to.

Unprofessional and don't do the job well. These positive reviews are probably all fake. These guys…read moredon't know what they're doing and mess up the job. I paid $1000 to have some trees removed along with stumps, these guys came and did it and left a huge mess and mulch everywhere. When I removed all the mulch, under it was the stumps along with huge amount of roots still there, not properly removed. These was also a lot of regrowth of all the trees because of that. I had to pay another company another $500 to have them cleared. The roots weren't even inside the ground, they were all surface roots which shows these guys are lazy and don't care. When I contacted them to request if they could come fix it, they refused to acknowledge their mistake and stopped responding to messages. Photos in comments for proof. Avoid this business at all costs and get someone more knowledgeable to do your job. STAY WELL AWAY!
