Okay, this place is SUCH a vibe. This Yarrow & Sage location is tucked inside a little black house in Austin, and that alone had me excited before I even walked in. The "broom parking only" signs sealed the deal. The moment you step inside, it feels witchy and welcoming. Dark walls, beautiful artwork everywhere, and magical details in every corner. There are sooo many options for jewelry and jewelry building. Charms, chains, stones, and pieces to create something totally custom. It's thoughtfully curated, not overwhelming, and really fun to browse. One of my favorite parts was the little library nook. Shelves of witchy books, tarot, and magical reads that make you want to slow down and explore. It makes the shop feel like more than just a store. The artwork and designs throughout are incredible. Pottery, prints, candles, herbs, incense, tarot decks, and tons of unique handmade items you're not going to see everywhere else. The staff was also amazing. Kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help without being pushy at all. You can tell they love the space and what they do. Outside, in the back, they have a food truck and a bakery next door. It's a really "chill" spot to hang out with some friends or even yourself! I've been to a few metaphysical stores in the Austin area and so far this one tops them all!!!!! Everything was so beautiful and nicely organized, the prices of everything was clearly on every item they had out which I really appreciate. The employee was nice they didn't make me feel rushed or uncomfortable as some can make you feel in these types of intimate settings. I really enjoyed myself and I will be back. The only thing I wish is that they had more herbs! Other than that everything was perfect. The selection of books omgggg I bought one and I can't wait to get more. I love this super charming and delightful witchy store! They've got plenty of witchy items like candles, crystals, and incense, and also local artisan-made goods like jewelry. They're great for buying gifts. I've also gotten a tarot card reading in their trailer in front, which was a really cute space and a good experience. The last time I was in I was looking for an athame, which they didn't carry, but perhaps there are special restrictions on selling knives that make them difficult to carry. I bought rose quartz stars, a cast iron candle holder, and a cool sticker recently! read more

What a wonderful locally owned space to find locally made jewelry as well as ritual and healing items. I did a scavenger hunt for my sister and asked if I could have their store be a stop in the hunt. Not only did they agree, but they also were so kind and accommodating and willing to participate. The stop was perfect because it was such a cool welcoming place with beautiful pieces. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly kind! I'm excited to try one of the remedy teas I purchased, and to return to peruse their beautiful space and items. read more

Wanted to love this place so bad! It's not great the vibes are not amazing either. The idea of it is awesome just like it feels like bad juju. I bought a few things no one explained to me or offered suggestions I feel like most of the time when I'm at businesses that work with spiritual type stuff are really helpful and lots of instructions etc. so if you aren't like already into this for a long time then it's not a place for you. Their book selection is small. But what was the real reason why? I wanted to do a reading or something in the trailer outside. The cashier said they will be there at 5;30 there is no sign up sheet or updates on their socials about what will be offered. I come back at 5:45 and there is a woman who ignores me I say hi! I would like to get a reading or something. And she looked annoyed as she was fixing a table that she complained was broken by whoever was there last, it's a fold up table. It's not the end of the world. Anyways she responded with a huff I don't do that. Ok. I look at the sign, I'm confused. She said I do astrology, ok um. Then she said I have to text my boss. What she could have said is this is what I do and I can help with. And instead I felt awkward af standing there lol and said ok, we'll I guess I'll come back. So bad organization. Not great vibes when greeted and gave off superior wellness snob vibes. So yeah. Like I left annoyed and honestly mad at how I was treated. You go somewhere to find some help and leave feeling worse. Yay. In such a quick small interaction it really changes your opinion. Although the first visit wasn't amazing I still came back for the trailer. read more

We had a quick visit so didn't talk much but I could already tell the staff is knowledgeable about their products and the community at large.
