We sent bereavement flowers from Texas, with beautiful teddy bears added for little twin girls (beloved grandpa died unexpectedly from a heart attack). Given it was only a few days after the tragedy - there was a great deal of confusion attempting to deliver, as they were still handling the event. With an unsuccessful delivery & a policy not to leave flowers on porches because of heat... (which I appreciated greatly ) , she then made multiple attempts to reach the recipients, texted with me throughout the day to keep me posted, and finally had to be resolved with rescheduling the delivery. Additionally, important to add- my Tuscon family has recently adopted a new kitten. It was my first time researching 'nontoxic' flowers. I spent unnecessary late night hours pouring over arrangements, when all I needed to do was wait for morning, call & ask. She was extremely well-versed in managing arrangements safe for fur-babies. The arrangement was gorgeous, with very high-quality, super soft stuffies for the Littles. She was extremely gracious when we had to cut our budget, and with her time on the wedding day, stepping in to help my bridesmaids assemble their DIY bouquets with flowers they got elsewhere. Ultimately Susan did our wedding arch, my bouquet, some of our centerpieces, and the mantle and sweetheart table. Everything was absolutely gorgeous. She even let us borrow some floating candle vases for our centerpieces so that we wouldn't have to buy our own. Seriously, just one of the kindest women. My only issue was the size of my bouquet. It was huge! It covered my dress and really overtook some of the photos. I didn't know this was something I had to consider and wish it had been brought up in one of our conversations. Still, it was beautiful nonetheless. I just wish it had been small so it didn't overshadow me and my dress in the pictures and wasn't so heavy.
