On pristine walls that had only been painted once and virgin wood floors that had been covered with…read morecarpet since the 50s, the paint job was sloppy (paint on woodwork; wall paint on the ceiling) and had to be redone. They subcontracted out the wooden floors, which they did and redid 3X before I booted them out, got out of the contract, and paid for what work was done. The floors were sanded down right to the nails in places, before I came onsite and saw what was done. To top it off, I had to rent a place to stay, because the work was completed over three weeks after the agreed upon completion date. The company owner was rude, to boot. I've never been so happy to end a relationship in my life!

About an hour goes by I reach out to ask if they were still coming she says yes they got held up at Lowe's and will be there in 10 minutes. 20 minutes go by I start to call to cancel the appointment but saw them pulling in my drive way. The wife came in greeted me & appeared apologetic the husband "handyman" stood behind very stand off & seemingly annoyed. He came in my home I extended my hand and he was reluctant. Brushed it off showed them upstairs to the office and kids bedroom and what I needed done. I asked how long the service would take. Initially we agreed on 2-3 hours now it was 4-5 hours and they we're over an hour late. When I challenged the timeframe, the husband then abruptly blurted out "I don't need this!" Instructed his wife to grab his tools & I followed them out of my home. I felt very uncomfortable with them in my home esp the husband. They are the first building contractors we have found that do EVERYTHING the right way (we have tried bigger and smaller firms). They genuinely care about doing a great job. Communication is clear and transparent, and the job is detailed. We were provided a specification list of all fittings, along with a work design drawing for practical purposes and 3D visuals of what the bathroom would look like. Before work started, everything was scheduled and the process flowed beautifully. All permits were handled without any involvement from us and they used a straight forward project app to ensure we had daily updates. I've added some photos but it's hard to show exactly how much difference this addition en-suite has made to our home and all the behind the scenes electrics and plumbing required to make it happen. We are over the moon with the end result and enjoyed the structured process of delivery. We are about to contract with them to renovate an existing en-suite and build a new hidden walk in closet.
