During my trip to Walt Disney World for the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend, I had an chance to explore Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom and couldn't help but visit Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe while it was still open! As a long time visitor to a holiday store that is open year round, I have always believed there was something special about such a location! Upon entering, I felt as if I was walking into the holiday season, regardless of the time of year! Inside the shop are holiday ornaments, decorations, Disney themed holiday items, and other unique souvenirs. I probably looked through more things than I should have because everything caught my attention! Some of the best things about the shop are how many ornaments can be personalized! They make excellent reminders of a Disney vacation! Although I was not planning to purchase any Holiday decorations, I enjoyed viewing each of the various Disney themed ornaments and holiday decorations. This is one of those shops that will allow you to go back again and find something new each time! The cast members were very friendly and even with the large number of guests due to the Springtime Surprise event, it didn't seem too busy! If you collect anything Disney related, want a unique item for a gift, or just enjoy the holidays, then I highly recommend stopping by Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe when you visit Magic Kingdom! As for me, it has become one of my favorite stores to browse, and it is usually difficult to leave without finding something inside the store! read more

The smell alone makes it Christmas all year round in here-it's cookies, cinnamon, pine trees and sugarplums-combined with fairy dust, of course! I can't resist this little shop, near Liberty Square and the Hall of Presidents. It's especially joyful at Christmastime-and in the summer, when it's so hot and rainy-and the holiday season can't come soon enough. The staff is dressed in colonial costumes and is full of good cheer. They have a huge selection of ornaments year round-many of which, can be personalized-and there are other things, like nutcrackers and tree skirts, etc. that rotate in and out through the year. Right now, in January 2025, they have a large selection of "Nightmare Before Christmas" merch. Prices are what you'd expect in the park. You can grab Thanksgiving dinner around the corner at Liberty Tree Tavern, then walk a few steps over here for some Christmas spirit (and souvenirs). Oh! Ye Olde Christmas Shop is a must when you visit the Magic Kingdom during Christmas. Every year during my daughter's school vacation we went to Disney World. She was allowed a stuffed character each time. I tried to avoid holiday themed souvenirs. I'm sure if we visited we purchased a Mickey tree ornament. I'll check the 2023 Xmas tree to look for it! Ye Olde Christmas shoppe in located in Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom. Outside the shop is a life sized sleigh for picture taking. The store has all different types of Christmas items ranging from ornaments to even a unique piece that operates like and is patterned after the dolls in "Small World." You can get ornaments personalized for an additional fee. Much of the merchandise you can find in Disney days of Christmas over at Disney springs however, I was able to find unique items here. Since I visited during Hanukkah I was delighted to find a "Mickey" dreidel. It was a heavy item on account of the base but still makes a great momento. During the Christmas season this store gets very crowded with the very Merry Christmas party going on and people wanting to get a special something to commemorate their visit. I was happy finding my dreidel and saw they also had a limited selection of Hanukkah merchandise here as well. The counterlady wrapped it well for me so it arrived home safely. LIke all places expect to pay more here because it is Disney but that goes with the territory. Even if you are not shopping it is a great shop to go in and browse if you get the opportunity. read more

It's Christmas all year long in the Magic Kingdom! I love Disney and I love Christmas! This shop perfectly marries the two --- with the shop full to the brim of ornaments and decorations. Love this cute little shop right near The Hall of Presidents. Workers are sweet and dressed in old timey clothing fitting for the holidays. Adorable Christmas themed shop tucked away in the heart of frontierland in Disney's Magic Kingdom. This is adorable little shop has Christmas items all year long. They offer tons of mementos and keepsakes that you'll definitely want to take a look at to bring home as a souvenir of your visit. Ornaments always make a great souvenir as when you're decorating each year for the holiday you'll remember the fun you had visiting that place. Stop is really friendly and helpful. If you want to get a custom ornament made with the date or any kind of names you can do that here as well. This would be really fun to give as a gift to someone that couldn't make it on the trip, or for yourself to keep with the family name or the year you visited. I keep saying I'm going to start putting up 2 Christmas trees every year: one for my regular ornaments and a second for all my Disney ornaments. Stopped in here on the quest to find a Jack Skellington "mood" chart - we had seen it at a store in the Magic Kingdom, and were told that Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe might have it. While they didn't have it, they do have a HUGE selection of Nightmare Before Christmas stuff for purchase, so if you're looking for that, be sure to stop here. I got myself a Nightmare Before Christmas pressed penny, too. I love Christmas especially in Disney World! This shop is opened year round 365 days a year! Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe is a store located in Liberty Square (which is my favorite land in the park). There is something so magical about getting an ornament that is exclusive to Disney to bring home for a souvenir. This shoppe contains a wide selection of ornaments, Christmas stockings, Mickey Mouse nutcrackers and t shirts. When I entered the store, I was on the hunt for an ornament that had the words Disney World engraved on the ornament. I came across a lot of Christmas trees with numerous soft plush Disney character ornaments like Chip and Dale, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Daisy and Donald Duck to name a few. There were also mouse ears and Princess ornaments like Jasmine and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. My husband suggested to ask one of the cast members for an ornament that said Disney World on it. I took his suggestion and asked a cast member if they had any. The first ornament she showed me was the Cinderella Castle that said Disney World underneath. I thought the ornament would be too big and bulky for my suitcase so she showed me another option. Bingo! It was a round ornament with Mickey's face in the middle that contain Spaceship Earth from Epcot Center, the castle from Fantasyland, an animal from Animal Kingdom Park and an iconic landmark from Disney's Hollywood Studios and the back of the ornament it had the letters WDW opened 1971. I knew I had to buy this beauty of a gem so I did! I am excited to put it on my tree this year. This is a must stop for any fan of Disney World and Christmas too! read more

Adorable little shop! My fiance and I love Christmas, even at the beginning of September :P We visited several times during our visit to Magic Kingdom in Disney World. We got several different ornaments (Princess Jasmine ornament, Mickey and Pluto ornament, and a Monsters Inc ornament), since we're planning to decorate our very first Christmas tree in our apartment this upcoming holiday season :) We also got those cute little "I'm Celebrating" and "Happily Ever After" badges from this shop too (though you can find them in other shops too). read more

Adorable shop. Tons of Disney ornaments you're not likely to find online or at your local Disney store. But not for the faint of heart. The ornaments are pricey. A Mickey hat shaped ornament is about $18-$19 and that is if you buy the bundle of 3. Otherwise, it is $24 each. You can easily spend an hour or longer inside this store just looking at all the items they carry. There are some ornaments they can personalize for you. The lady sits there and writes onto the ornament what you want written. A nice benefit of the Disney stores is that if you're staying at one of the Disney resort hotels, you can have your packaged delivered to your hotel. Our ornaments were delivered the same day as we received a message on our room phone and we went down to the hotel gift shop to pick it up. Sweet. read more

We were just in the Magic Kingdom for MVMCP. Granted I had just driven 8 hours and the Park was packed. There was a cart with loads of beautiful ornaments and the very nice cast member explained I could have an ornament personalized for a small fee and directed me to walk past the two ladies busily painting away on ornaments and go in the store to order. The very NOT nice cast member at the counter said it could not be done, he showed me two lists with orders on them, and kept emphasizing these people had already ordered and there was no way they could do any more. When I explained we were there for a week and later in the week would be fine, he again said NO, I asked to speak to a manager. He went outside and spoke to one of the ladies decorating. He said as a very special favor they would squeeze my order in. I did not get a good feeling about this at all. Again I tried to explain I wasn't asking for immediate service, a couple of days in the future would be more than fine. Matthew stuck to his guns on how they would somehow manage to squeeze me in. The unspoken, but plainly received message was my business was not needed and definitely not wanted. I quietly put the ornament on the counter and thanked Mathew anyway and said I would find the ornament at another store. I went outside with tears in my eyes and told the nice girl at the cart that if I were her I wouldn't recommend sending anyone else in to that store. A couple of days later I got the same ornament in the Downtown Disney shop from a VERY pleasant cast member, who was also obviously very busy, but treated me very courteously. I received the beautiful ornament delivered to my hotel, No drama, no problems. No more shopping at Ye Olde Christmas Shop for me! read more
